I actually prefer the original red spine
I wish I could be like that.
I actually like these colorful spines. Once I finish my Switch game collection, I will definitely get those ❤️
Red spines are fine, it's empty whiteness inside most boxes that pisses me off.
Well fans have made high quality manuals to solve that problem.
@Sn0ring where can I find these manuals
Also on Etsy, for something completely custom made they are really high quality from what I heard.
@@Sn0ring hmu with the link?

This is a really good idea, thank you! I will print some of them!
I NEED these. Having the spines with the game image on the spine would look so good next to the gamecube games and other spines with images on them
That looks awesome!!
I wound if you took a Elmers glue stick to the spine first and then put it on the cover art. Let it dry. Then put it back in case it would look good. I know you can’t open them too far or they move. But, Nintendo should be taking notes.
They look really cool! Also, what an Awesome gaming collection 😎👌
Wow this is amazing. So happy this exists.
I'm used to the standard red so it doesn't bother me much but yeah that looks kind of cool having colorful spines
I these look great, definitely harkens back to the ps2, xbox360 and other case spines i have in my collection. The price is a hard sell for some, but considering its on high quality paper, good quality ink, the need of a high quality printer, and the tools and labor to cut them straight, i think a little over a dollar each makes enough sense. If you have all of those things at your disposal, then of course you should deff do yourself, but most of us do not.
lost me on the first 20 seconds impressive
Next time I will go for the first 3 seconds.
The standard boring spine and box art was made intentionally to make physical copies less and less appealing so that they can make digital copies in line. If someone was to get a digital version they can see what was missing compared to the physical counterpart. Less art and designs means less intention to get physical. The convenience of digital is also there without having to switch carts.
The Sonic ones pop out to me. I like it. I'm used to the red on mine, but I'm glad it makes you happy, because its your collection. Are you planning on getting more though to hide the rest of the red spines? Not your sealed ones of course 😊.
Once the sealed games become unsealed I will be getting spines for them yes.
Why would you want to read the spine from far away. You have be close to take it out of the case anyway.
The red spines are nice because they're all the same. I love other game consoles of course and how unique they all are, but these spines look so nice on a shelf. You know they're Switch easily. The cases are too small for anything really detailed, so them being standard like they are is better in my opinion. DVD cases are bigger so there's more space for art and everything doesn't feel super cluttered unlike these do on Switch.
That being said, it's all opinion based. Thanks for showing these off!
Would these labels damage the insert underneath it?
They don't they just slide in and out. It is just high quality photo paper.
I like the red, to be honest.
I am good as long as it is all uniform. I hate it more when it changes durring the generation like the PS3 and 3DS did. Mix that with things like Player's Choise and Platinum Hits releases and I just tend to give up worring about them.
What’s your secret for collecting games? I can’t find many good physicals for under $30. Most games I really want are super pricey
For me it is just asking people if they have any they wanna sell at like Garage Sales. I have gotten very lucky with them. Especially if you have any good community sales near you.
I don't know if this is worth it, seems way too hard to take off the rubber band
I know my only weakness.
@@Sn0ring lollll
I'm on the toilet
Hope all went well...
$78 hell no
Why are all the comments like this lmao. I will be doing this for mine thank you :D
No clue but it doesn't bother me. Everyone has their preferences and that is fine.
I don’t know about the spines being bad, I think you’re reaching a bit. It’s a very clean look. Very minimal look. Which is probably the look they were going for
dang your just a game collector will you do lets plays man i at least play my games and i do lets plays of variety of games
I do play them just my backlog is insanely long. Currently, running through Final Fantasy 10 for the first time ever.
Jesus, those prices! wtf
yeah I would never buy anything from etsy. I closed the page immediately after seeing the price
$1.30 each seems pretty reasonable to me.
these are almost as beautiful as You.
Aweee 😭❤️
No hate but not a fan 💯 Will keep all my games OG!! seen this before and it looks cheap and tacky...Red for the win 👍🏽👍🏽
I'm more annoyed that you didn't get it for all of them than I am that reversed cover splatoon 2 is off colored
Honestly, same here to a degree but oh well. We embrace the chaos lol
Don’t be lazy 😂
It could be laziness but also it isn't worth wasting all the ink and glossy photo paper by doing it on my own. I would be so frustrated trying to cut them out perfectly.
Much like PAL PS2 spines, just horrible.
Completely disagree I love them I just got to 150 games
Just have to say. You're ruining any value associated with your cased games. The red is supposed to be the stand out color, almost like the gray for NES/SNES
Ooo you would be pissed to see my N64 games. Those have custom top labels 😌
Oh no, not my copy of Arms. Whatever shall I do. 😭
Not pissed. My collection is mine. And yours is yours to do what you like with. But honestly, I just don't see the point in buying so many games just to devalue them?
For him it has more value to have them in this way. Value is in the eye of the beholder. This wouldn't deter me from purchasing a game. Funk and grime all over the case on the other hand.........
@@Welspoke that's beauty. Value in this context is actually represented by wealth. Not the sentimental other meaning of the word. That's like confusing right with write lol
these look way worse
Why do you think they look worse? Isn’t that basically what every other console has with there spines.
I prefer the uniformity of the red spines, keeps it looking clean and classic.
The color spines themselves look fine alone but as a collection, unless you color coordinate the colorful spines it just looks messy as a whole.
@@rfitzpatrick723i can understand that in comparison to the original spines, it looks messy. But if you collect physical games for most other consoles like ps2 or xbox360, the spines are not uniform with each other. So on the whole of your entire collection, the switch games are the outliers. Everyone’s got different tastes! :)
You're just old 😂
Just have really bad vision. I ain't old yet 👴
@@Sn0ring I'm 41. My vision is going. Small print can be hard to read.
Looked way better before you wasted your money. Sorry
Glad you agree. I'm a professional at wasting money 😎
