Personally I would never buy code in a box games they are worthless.
Gotta say, as much as I think that they are gonna rise in price, I think that there are more games that you need to mention: fire emblem three houses, xenoblade 2, super mario 3d all stars, and more
This is what I aim to do in a later video
Sweet video and pickups, Sam! I'm happy to see another video from you :)
Thanks Mofaxx, glad youre still around watching the channel!
Do you still stream from time to time? Hope all is well with you!

@@Mofaxx i haven't gone live for a while, i plan to return at some point. Not sure when as my life has changed massively over the last year as priorities are with my daughter at the moment. But one day I will go back to streaming.
I will say that borderland collection and BioShock collection are not complete on cartridge. They require an online download to further play. For physical collectors these 2 games aren't the best long term. Borderland does have the first full game so that isn't the worst if you really like the first one. But I heard BioShock is just better on PS or Xbox physically
Yes you are correct, you need the download codes for some games which does unfortunately slice the cartridge up. Still great games though, ive been playing borderlands on switch and it plays fine to me
Hi there just found your channel subscribed! 🤟🏼
Thanks Crimson, welcome in!
DEFINITELY play Rabbids, it's a bit repetitive, but so much fun, and easy to play in bursts. its also really funny!
Didn't you already have Borderlands ? I am sure I mentioned to you before that only one game is on the cart and the other two were download code.
Why you got the code in a box versions of assassin's creed and immortals fenyx rising
Hope you have much fun with this oick ups. But for collecting many game are not intressting, becauae they need a download.
So, if every collector starts to speculate on the rarity and market value, who's gonna buy those games in the future if each of them already have copies of them? Surely, I bet you the next generation of games won't give a damn about physical media anymore.
Depends who you are. Physical gaming is a way to keep games forever as long as you take care of the box contents. Digital gaming is the future absolutely, but there will always be people who want physical editions of anything. Like myself, I want to hold and look at box art, not a digital thumbnail jpeg of a game on a menu screen. Its the whole point of being a collector. To horde and resell when the value of a collection goes up. Its a gamble but its also an investment. Plus growing up with physical games from the likes of gamecube, n64, gameboy etc. Its in my nature to go for physical. I cant see physical going anywhere entirely soon, maybe after the next gen of consoles, sure
Collectors that didn't speculate or people that are late to the party
Guarantee you that all these switch games will not increase in price over time and many of them will get cheaper. There is too much speculation and buying with intent to flip later and try to time the market. If ever a game starts to jump in price, there will be thousands of copies waiting to get listed. There will be a few exceptions, naturally. But on the whole, those of you putting thousands of dollars into switch games thinking you are being smart, are not.
@@warehousedave7937that is fine but I said the same thing about all my NES, SNES,Genesis,PS1, PS2, GameCube and Dreamcast games that I owned when these systems launched. I traded, sold or gave away all of these systems and games. I was lucky enough to get a Dreamcast and few games cheap and was gifted a GameCube and Gameboy advance with complete games in box of some popular titles but still missing some of the rare games I owned. If i would have kept all my system and games, would be sitting on a goldmine today.
The Nintendo Switch will go down as the most collectible system for physical game than majority of consoles ever sold. Most of the first party games and JRPGs will hold their value and majority will go at or above retail down the line with some of the more niche 1st, 2nd and 3rd party games reaching triple digits easy after a couple of years. There will of course be a majority of games that some speculators thought will rise in value but will drop like turd and never go up. Looking at you Persona 5 tatica or Fire Emblem Warriors!! Games like Another Code Recollection and Advance Wars 1&2 reboot camp will be the ones that go up due to small print runs only on switch and not great sellers.
idk about smt3 since its just a remaster and available on most platforms, but smt 5 defo has potential to be rare (especially steelbook version) since it is switch exclsusive and also they are rereleasing it as as smt 5 vengence soon (not exclusive).
Im waiting for Vengence to be released. before I deep dive into the SMT series i think.
AC: Rogue is a good game. Gameplay wise, it's basically just more Black Flag but taking place around the north Atlantic areas of AC 3.
I can't wait to play it. I love Black Flag so I don't see why I wouldn't like Rogue
Bio shock games are good played them on ps3 back in the day
Yeah Bioshock 1 is a masterpiece. Ive played through Bioshock infinite to and thought it was great, however my memory of the game is vague so id like to revisit it. Bioshock 2 is the game I never finished in the series as it didnt click with me back in the day, however i think ill give it another chance.
Dang so many Switch games while my local reatail store I would just fine 5 games, sigh.
Ahh, tbf i am lucky to have some good shops near me, they can be expensive though
Why are the prices going to go up?
When nintendo stops distributing games from systems, they most likely rise in value depending on how popular a game is. The more popular the game, the less likely to rise in value. With the death of physical media in the coming years, more and more people will be looking for physical copies of media. Because well digital is expensive and you dont own anything after purchase.
Nintendo are notorious for having games from past systems skyrocket in value. Mostly because of nostalgia and nintendo collectors. Its just a thing that happens.
Guess I'll sell my vanilla SMTV once I had SMTVV.
Dont sell keep it, as vengence may be less valuable depending how well it does in sales
@@Switchbored which vengeance will sell way more anyways
@@therealjaystone2344 it definitely will as its available on all major consoles
Very funny here in Brazil physical switch games never EVER CHANCE THE PRICE and is very veeeeery expensive
Every game costs like 75 USD even bad games
Ah man, not even preowned games? That must suck. Sorry
Borderlands & Bioshock on the Switch suck as you need a massive download just to play the games.
Ive been playing borderlands, doesnt take that much room, plus i have a 512gb SD card in my switch, my storage is fine
@@Switchbored The point was that buying the physical edition is worthless especially once the Eshop closes for the Switch years into the future. Just look at the Wii, 3DS...etc.
Dawg let me mod your switch! Piracy is dope and saves you so much money and you can overclock to get like 60fps in like, Skyrim, TOTK, BOTW, even Fortnite, etc, and unless you specifically are deadset on the like the collecting aspect, a $13 modchip and a $60 1tb micro sd card could allow you to get like literally 100+ games. SAVE UR MONEY! D:
It's a nice idea. thanks for the offer. However I enjoy collecting games. its a Hobby of mine to have and hold physical media. I dread the day all games go digital.
Shut down
Hi :D
Hey Nintendude! Welcome back
Fuck me he did not buy xenoblade 3 dude....
Rare switch game hunting, then buys 5 games that have to be downloaded 😂😂. Should have just stayed home and download, could’ve saved half a day driving around 😂😂😂🤣🤣
Lol
Fire Emblem Warriors in nothing like a regular Fire Emblem game. It's a mindless hack and slash game made by Dynasty Warriors devs dressed up with Fire Emblem characters.
I know its not traditional fire emblem, still fire emblem though. Its basically the same as Hyrule Warriors and zelda.
Well im out! 😂🤣 Absolute waste of time click bait nonsense, 'rare switch games before the price skyrockets' and proceeds to buy a bunch of plastic with download codes inside. You should of just stayed in bed mate 😅
