  • 21st May'2024, Morning 8.30 am we started for our trip to Gurez Valley to explore the less visited tourist place. On the way we had to cross Wular lake, Razdan Pass, Kishen Ganga River and the mesmerizing views of Kashmir. The Wular lake at the height of 1580 meters is situated in Bandipora district of Kashmir. The roads were passing through small villages, and by the side of Sindh River. We also watched the Pir Punjal range of Himalaya. The lake is surrounded by the ranges of hills. There is a road to reach at the bank of the river. As we had to go further, we skipped that plan. The lake is connected to Jhelum River. Its color changes according to season and also with the position of the Sun. Visiting this place is very easy as it is just 55 Kms. away from Srinagar and it is on the way of many places like Gulmarg, Sona Marg. Exploring Wular can be a day out for the visitors.
