A winner of the Ministry of Tourism award for the Top Indian Tourism Destinations, Gurez Valley truly has an enchanting charm to it. With the most Kashmiri-looking villages which have wooden log houses; every corner looks like a film set. A film set which is at a dangerous location and has seen the wrath of being located there, Gurez Valley is now a peaceful Border valley with border villages post the 2019 ceasefire agreement between Indian and Pakistan.

I think this vlog is not the new one..I have recently been to Gurez vallley...i went on to see the snow cladded lofty mountains..And even some patches of snow was also present in Razdhan pass..

Thanks, this is from 2022 august. Ofcourse no one can give very specific idea about the specific date that u asked for. But know this that it is still an offbeat destination, and yet is known to people, so u wont find crowds of manali there but u also wont find yourself all alone.

@travelwithamag for Bangus Valley, just enquire from handwara police station once. It is still not clear whether they have completely opened the valley without permits or not. Even for night stay, permission from administration is required. U can also enquire at SDM OFFICE KUPWARA
