Sometimes you can use long nose pliers and a screwdriver to remove the tub drain.. Hope that helps.

I agree about renovating the apartment area , just give it a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom needed some serious work though with the leak.

I wish you find that 110 pound transformer which is lost some where under the pile some where in the yard. It feels bad just to imagine you could not benefit from the high copper prices. The transformer could have taken hardly 1-2 hours to process 30-40 pounds of copper. All because it is kept some where and forgotten.
