- Today we're talking about when Agile isn't agile. You know phrases you hear tossed around like "That's not Scrum" or "We're being Agile" as a means to justify lack of discipline? Yeah, let's break that down and talk about why we shouldn't be doing that.

I wholeheartedly agree.
I spent 10 years in chemistry, then transitioned into tech, as a PO in a software consultancy (which was actually combinations of PO/BA/SM, as the job required 😂). When I went from research science to tech, I also went from predominantly waterfall R&D projects in a global PPE company, to agile projects (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban). I've always taken the approach of, whatever I do, I primarily just want to bring value in the most efficient way possible. As soon as the framework gets in the way, it's not doing its job.
Thanks Jade, keep up the good work!
The content is great, but I suspect an item for the next sprint would be to lower the gain on the microphone. Or perhaps use a pop filter (not sure if they are called that.., thing you put in front of a microphone to prevent harsher noised that are not necessarily a part of your voice)
When management says "We are doing Scrum".....or..."We are doing SAFe".....or "kanban"....or whatever....
True story!
Nice tshirt!
Waterfall might be bad but it is still better than Scrum
someone had bad scrum experience.
@@jobslolo7387 Every Scrum experience is bad.
