- Featured is an instructive chess game between Deep Fritz and Vladimir Kramnik from 2006. Kramnik faced Deep Fritz, a top chess engine at the time, in a 6-game match. Deep Fritz won the match with 4 points, comprised of 2 wins and 4 draws. Game 2 of their match is highlighted, showcasing several positional ideas. Kramnik's final move turned out to be an extreme blunder in an otherwise model-like game out of a Queen's Gambit Accepted, Greco variation.

thanks again, I watched this in my "Back to Tournament" shirt
Jerry, have you given Drawback Chess a whirl? It's surprisingly interesting to play and still revolves around typically chesslike positions and ideas (unlike the wacky-er variants out there). The only real issue is that stream-sniping becomes a bigger problem.
Thank you! I'm waiting for more games in the playlist "Standard Chess Games". Please continue in this format.
After the game, Kramnik accused Fritz of using an engine 🤔
Very suspicious
😂😂
Very very interesting, let's do the procedure
Ok, let's do the procedure
A villain was born that day
We got a winning streak going here with this new content daily. Let’s keep it going! Thanks so much Jerry.
Jerry, your channel is the reason I started playing chess in 2017! I used to watch you daily! I'm so happy to be able to do it again! Thank you for your hard work!
Awesome 😎
Thank you for your support. 👍
Kramnik should report the engine for cheating.I think we have seen enough, the signs are obvious.
Do the procedure 😂😂😂😂
Its not funny anymore
When will you guys be tired of this joke?
@@user-cp3zm8em8n 😂😂😂
Kramnik is a joke and deserves to be dragged for a long time. Some of the worst sportsmanship in the history of all of chess
Kramnik has reported Stockfish for cheating.
😅😅😅😅
Kramnik’s opponent is obviously using computer assistance smh 🤦♂️
Jerry speaks for himself
The Deep Fritz operator was in panic mode. He was SURE that he had messed something up because no way WC Kramnik could miss mate in 1.
Your analysis is out of the world 🌎🌎
This is why you always google how the horsey moves before a high-stakes game.
Hi Jerry! I'm loving the content spree! Thank you for the content!
I can’t believe he’s been creating so much content lately. His quality has not decreased one bit either.
Next time I blunder like that I won't feel so bad. Happens to the best of us. Thanks, Jerry.
Maybe he wouldn't have blundered if his opponent wasn't cheating
I saw the mate threat and got Kg8. Highlight of my day.
"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!"
Had to laugh at the advantage graph at the end
The backwards “attack” (or in this case defense) of the piece is still the most common *human* oversight in chess I guess?
Interesting.
Hi Jerry. Excellent video as always. Could you though make more of « rapid video that may put us to sleep »? Thanks.
P.S : Just kidding.
Reminds me of when the Seahawks threw an interception on the one yard line to lose the super bowl.
Funny end but kind of a masterpiece of a game
Choosing defeat from the jaws of victory! Alternatively, the white pieces are showing how to always search for an attack even when behind. Excellent analysis.
Oh here is where the roots are!
The first time in human vs AI history that everyone was rooting for the AI 🥳
You just proved you weren´t around then.
Don't mistake Kramnik's reputation now for Kramnik's reputation at his peak
Kramnik only loses to computers. ;)
But in all seriousness, really great game. That blunder at the end is so typically human. Unusual knight position covering a backwards square.
the editing of this video 😂
is enobling 😊
didnt saw it either :)
What was the last “pause the video” pop quiz 😩😩
❤
Chessnetwork. Can u review world chess championship 1972 match?
I refuse to believe that Jerry is not a GM
He's a NM. He hasn't put in the OTB time required to get IM/GM.
I wonder what the best replies would of been after knight takes rook
I saw that threat instantly. Thus, I'm better than Kramnik. ;-)
🙂
First. Love it. Amazing video.
Was this the same Fritz that was just Stockfish but cost $200?
As this is from 2006, it is long before the Fat Fritz 2 debacle and this Fritz engine is distinct from Stockfish, which was released in 2008
Epic Chess just put up a video where Magnus missed a mate in one! :)
Can you please don't bother with machine chess ?
huh why?
@@madra000 because the machine is cheating
Can you please not watch things you don't like and not complain?
Jerry, much respect👊🏻😎
As a below average chess player myself, I never and my wildest dreams ever thought that I would see something in the chess game that a grandmaster did not. That day is today.
hi jerry
Kramnik always loved to exchange queens.
Let's not also forget that Deep Fritz was severely restricted in this match.
Yes only one AA battery instead of two
