It’s a criminal offence Chevy didn’t offer the T56 in the Silverado ss, would have completely transformed the driving feel. A manual in a truck is priceless fun.

@@chrishansen7004Don’t forget how shit the 8L90’s were too…. To the point that Chevy had a class action lawsuit and lemon laws against them…
For the most part, I know people custom tune the trans and run the revised Mobil 1 Dexron HPLV ATF, which is super specific for it, and supposedly keeps it good (for however long…)…
The 6th gen Camaro’s however, I hear, did better with just the revised ATF being flushed and swapped in, with no auto trans tune/re-flash done. This is usually the case with the same trans between the trucks and cars…

Hey man great video. But you skipped out on a key part of your swap. The people wanna see underneath and I my self would like to see how your buddy tackled the wiring for your nuetral safty. There certain color wires that some of us need sorted out. Unless he left it plugged in underneath.

I don’t have access to a lift, but I do have some okay clips from when I went to the muffler shop, I have posted them as shorts previously, and he left the wires unplugged

I'll let you know if I can see what im looking for but I'm probably not the only one that wants to see the wiring. There's reverse lights that need to work when in reverse and certain wires that need connected. Basically fishing for info cause there ain't none online
