you film this alone, and still much better than BBC
BBC is just a weapon of ruling class to spread propaganda and you have to pay for it wether you watch it or not
Your country is growing fast, but it is great to see that even though there is so much modernity around the country, they are still keeping their traditions alive, which helps the new generations learn and participate.
It has grown too fast on the weak foundation of Maoism which is coming back under Xi. Sad.
I get a cultural shock every time I watch Little Chinese Everywhere.
Little Chinese everywhere in my books is the best place to see and feel anything about China and Chinese way of life and this little lady is a true hero of it...
As a Chinese living overseas, thank you for bringing the different corners of unseen China to the internet. I'm learning so much from your videos!
So do I

CZcams should give us subscriber numbers, I think I subscribed when LCE had about 35,000. Now it is almost 300,000 and will be 3,000,000 soon, as more and more people come here for a unique, wonderful view of China.
Indeed,she has nice skills 😇
Huh? It does give subscriber numbers. This certainly is one of the best for learning about China.
I were waiting for your video! I really wanted two videos per week. Thank you!
@@nadasabbagh6273I think they mean they should give each of us followers an individual subscriber number. So maybe I would be subscriber number 12,047. That would actually be so cool.
No.
Good evening Madam, only for you one would never see such Beauty, the Old buildings with so much Color & Design, Just Beautiful, celebrating the Chinese New Year, the wonderful Silk Costumes, the colors were splendid, the Children giving all their might in multi colored costumes just breath taking honoring the ones gone before them, what a wonderful celebration,I think they will sleep well tonight, Madam your Drone Videos are fantastic, once again, thank you for a wonderful insight to a Beautiful Country, Regards & Best Wishes, Trevor.W.Bacelli, Biloela Qld Australia.🐕🐎🦄🦌🐃🐂🐄🐖🐗🐏🐑🐐🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦃🐔🐓🦆🦢🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌻🌴
Best video series on CZcams. Yan and Amy from Blondie in China honor China with their marvelous work.
It seems like a very good exploration of China, and very succinct but good quality recordings. Maybe one day I'll watch them.
"Katherines journey to the East" channel is also excellent.
Yes, Kathy's channel is wonderful@@WalkingSideways
Little Chinese Everywhere, Blondie in China and 阳离子 Katherine are literally my favorite channels about China. 😊
@@WalkingSideways I checked out Kathrine's channel and her video on buying groceries in rural China. Good production values and music. I subscribed.
I love how China is one big country that has many languages in it. Being American, this always fascinates me. (I know we're the odd man out, and most large countries have this to be fair.)
Thank you Yan for your wonderful channel showing all the real Chinese culture to the world. Watching you I get more and more in love with China.
Amazing and beautiful! Thank you again for introducing the world to your beautiful country.
it's so amazing that this tradition is carried on by all those young people.
The southern China people celebrate more traditional Chinese culture, very colorful and dance, community gathering together and very socially friendly people and the foods awesome, thanks for sharing your unseen China ❤👍
The North has experienced too many wars and ethnic integration for thousands of years, resulting in the loss of many traditions.
🤗Awesome...not only Unseen China it is also Ancient China....& I get to see and understand more of China thru your lens!! In my country we celebrate CNY/Everybody birthday/Hokkien New year & Chap Goh Mei aka Lantern festival (15thday) but this one is an eye opener!!! Thanks👍👍👍💪
Say "HI" from Marrakesh, Morocco
I've spent many Chinese New Year periods in China, but never seen anything like that. Amazing 🤩 Thank you for sharing as always
(doyen)china's titok
You only see this in the rural part of China, and Guang Dong in particular
china is too big
@@MJ18888 This is only in Chaoshan,Chaoshan people don‘t speak Cantonese
douyin 抖音 recommended this dance last year
Spectacular.
Thanks for opening the window to Unseen China.
Just beautiful, I really enjoyed seeing this. Thank you for for sharing this beautiful cultural event. Stunning.
Extreme good shot for Yingge Dance, thanks a lot for your hard and great work. I watched Yingge Dance a few times in Yuen Long, Hong Kong by myself, it's really amazing and touching. 💗💗💗
thank you for educating us about chinese culture and way of life amazing colors and dances
Thank you for showing me new places and explaining different cultures, I enjoy watching your videos very much! Stay safe and have fun out there! Happy women’s day!
Thank you 🥰
Glad you enjoy my videos!!
Have a nice day too :)
Yet another stunning video. I was so happy to see younger men participating in an ancient tradition, as well as seeing the entire community together to celebrate. Everything put me in awe as it was something never seen before!
Chinese New Year and all other Chinese holidays are best celebrated in rural Chinese villages. I was once in a rural village for the Dragon Boat Festival, and it was a thrilling and, most importantly, authentic experience.
You and your videos are the best of the best. They are like National Geographic, but on a much more personal level. They go straight into the eyes and the hearts of your viewers. What a world treasure you are. For me you are the "Eyes of China". : )
I see and hear from foreigners around me so much negativity about China here in Thailand, after my son married to a beautiful and smart young Chinese lady and with their two children half my living family is Chinese, so it is wonderful to watch your positive video’s. Due my advanced age (77) I will never get a chance to see for myself. A number of years ago I was lucky enough to work in Shanghai, which I look back on with good memories, my son talks about me visiting again sometime this year but still in the planning stage, meantime I thoroughly enjoy your videos, long may they continue, you have a very nice presentation style, the drone shots especially.
Wow, keeping old traditions alive!!! Thanks Yan for this interesting vlog!! 👍👍👍To me, this signifies the unity of China despite its diverse ethnic practices!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you Yan for including us in your wonderful explorations. Your channel is a precious jewel.
Absolutely love the insight into the diversity and depth of cultural differences that make up China and great work in putting what you have captured into the final product that we can view so very professional
This is so beautiful to see... Traditions, people getting together, doing such an amazing things! Awesome! Thank you for the video!
Oh Yan, that was just Amazing, i would have loved to be there, what a wonderful celebration 🥰 your Films are so so special, you bring such wonders to all of us, thank you.
Your videography and production style are raising the bar among vloggers everywhere! Kudos to you for your artistry, creativity, integrity, and humanity. You and your channel are such a gift to us all!!!
I'm watching from Australia and loving the video, it's so great to learn about different cultures and traditions, thanks so much for sharing , safe travels 😃
This was fantastic! The dancers, the make up, all the kids, the parents and elders preparing food. What a wonderful day! Thank you so much!
Hi Yan…an enormous coverage of a cultural, historical and community event. I feel like you..a sense of envy of the community having such a great event and so much fun for the younger generation. Thank you and as always looking forward to your next update from Europe .
Chaoshan is where i accidentally ended up living for several years, and i still dream about it.
Some day i will go back. Thank you for the video.
21:40 Well that explains why the dancers are all so young!
You did an amazing work Yan. Can't thank you enough. Each and every video is truly awesome 🥰
Your an amazing person! For me you’re the most kindest traveler vlogger! All the best for your future endeavours 👍
I agree. Can't wait for her next adventure
That was beautiful Yan, thank you so much for taking us there. Wonderful dance celebration!
Many thanks for bringing China to us.
This is very interesting, since I’ve never seen this type of Chinese new year before. So, this is something new that I’ve never heard or seen.
Hope this tradition can carry on generations after generations, so unique!
Another wonderful video- great photography and narrative. Thank you for bringing your China to the hills of Vermont. Yan, you are one of the very best you-tubers!
Thank you little chinese, thanks to you, I follow the rural and neighborhood lives of China with interest, thank you for your efforts, greetings from Turkey😀😀❤💙
a lot of work must’ve gone into timing the different angles from above and within the crowd, it really shows. Fantastic video for a wonderful celebration. China gave the world fireworks for new year but kept the best parts for itself 😃
What is so great about the celebration was their authentic regional rural stye not much affected by city norms. Just look at the simply made localized dressing, their palanquins and deity statues. Even their celebratory dance looks so powerfully different. So unlike the mainstream character. What great moment and sights !
Hello ❤❤❤ from 🇵🇭 silent subscriber amazing and beautiful cultural event celebrating Chinese new year.
Magic of beauty, beauty of magic. A wealthy community celebration indeed ❤ Thank you once again and Happy New Year ❗️🙏
Thank you Yan for always showing us the ancient and the modern. and making it so easy to watch with your filming and editing skills. This is easily my favourite travel channel.
Incredible energy i felt from these pictures, pictures i never seen and never imagined. Seeing you so devoted for your schedule to bring us this format makes me grateful for your work. And what an amazing film indeed with lots of information but not just any kind, very well sandwiched, concrete and realistic, warm well made mini documentary. Now all of the sudden my morning is more colorful, thank you.
Hi Yan, you should go to 莆田和仙游 next year. They also have a marvelous Chines New year celebration ceremony.
China was my home for eight years, and I got to see so many marvelous things. These videos make me miss those wonderous adventures I had. Great work my dear. May you have safe journeys and blessed adventures.
I have been waiting with anticipation to see your Chinese new year videos. Thank you!! ❤
Hello Yan! Thank you for the insight into rural China's traditions. I am really impressed by your work and as usual I cannot wait for your next episode.
Keep up the good work! 🥰
When I was a child, parents would tell finicky children to "eat up, there are children starving in China who would happily eat this." I think that's fixed now.😅😂 My parents used: "when I was a child, in the dutch famine, I would have killed for a crust of bread!
I actually thought in China everyone speaks mandarin but when the 1st lady said she didnt understand you..i thought it was hilarious then i remembered when i was in Hong Kong, the people there didnt understand my Singapore Cantonese lol.
a lot of older Chinese don't speak Mandarin especially in southern China.
Thanks Yan. This is a great video. Thank you for showing us the other side of China. Really enjoyed watching all your videos. I felt as emotional as you as this involved the community which is rather rare now. I went to Shanghai for CNY looking for some CNY atmosphere but I couldn't find it. I will travel to this part of China for CNY later. Thanks for leading us to these places. I really like this kind of traditional celebrations. We must never forget our culture and traditions and I bet many people disagree with me. I hope this tradition can be carried on for many many years despite the Westernisation and conversion to other religions.
Amazing! Thanks for the great video. With love from northeast India.❤
You can learn more about China in twelve videos from Yan than by spending 12 years in China.
Even Chinese people in other parts of China who have lived their whole life there may not know about what practices they are in the country like the one seen here.
Beautiful, Awesome vlog. Thanks Yan for covering the authentic and traditional celebration of Chinese New year.
The kid( 18:20 ...) was coping well with others.
Half a mil by the end of the year!
Thank you for documenting (albeit tiring) the cultures and traditions in China where the elders and youngs get together to cherish and celebrate without reservation.
At first, I got mistaken, thought it sounds the same as the ethnic Tajik's 鹰歌舞 in China's northwestern city of Tashkurgan. But the Chinese sub says 英歌 which I don't know what it means. But good thing the vlogger did explain it as "Hero Dance" later. The Tajik one means Eagle Dance. I like the fact she tries to explain what we hear or see, showing she has done her own research for our background understanding and appreciation of how it came about.
Your channel is the "Best" Channel on CZcams ! Thank you for posting all your videos for us to see :)
Really interesting episode and have the same feeling as you Yan, it's so happy to see the unity of the village people to take part in the event, please share more local celebrations on special event like this one, thank you
Amazing!!!! Thank you for sharing. Wonderful insight to a Beautiful China. , I really enjoyed seeing this.

Thank you for letting us experience this unique event most of us would have otherwise never heard of. So well done!
Wow, as a indian villager I am relate 😊😊😊
Love Indian people from Nepal but I wish the India would stop stealing Nepal’s land and stop interfering in our countries political issues so the majority of Nepalese could have same positive thoughts towards India as we have towards China.
I have been watching almost all of the episodes on your Channel but this episode resonates with me the most. I am a descendant of Chinese parents growing up in a small town in central Thailand with a sizable Teochew community. For more than half a century, our town held a ceremony with a deity-worshipping parade every 12 years. A Yingge dance is the parade's highlight with colorful face paintings and costumes of a few dozen dancers performing martial arts dances. I am very delight to see in this video that our Yingge dance is very similar to the original dance in mainland China. The ceremony has been rescheduled to be held every four years and the next one will be later this year. Perhaps you could come to see it by yourself how well this tradition has been preserved outside China.
Your videos are better than those on CCTV!
Excellent video, or shall l say "documentary"! Thank you.
🎉 Que. Alegria verte y mas escucharte, salud. Paz bendiciones
Amazing costumes and makeup; so beautiful and engaging. Thanks
That small boy in the brown shirt who walked with the dancers sure has what it takes!
Love your videos. You are such a wonderful person who can open China for the rest of the world to enjoy. Keep up the good work 谢谢
When you mentioned that you're envious - It is a harsh reality in this world, where we envy ethnic groups who still follow such rich rituals and meaningful traditions, however at the same time national identities all around the world demands everyone who seeks status, wealth and power to educate themselves mostly in the 'national language' and to follow 'national identity'. The currency of regional identities and unprofitable rituals - most often are pro-bono and out of passion, will only be the losing team in this world, where jobs opportunities are becoming more and more limited. I truly hope many people will wake up to the reality that money means nothing compared to a life enriched with meaning, and that people will have more respect for generations of people who fight for their rituals and constantly making their rituals relevant to a modern society that is becoming less and less relevant to nature.
This video was really awesome! My favorite I have seen on your channel. Water Margin is my favorite of the Chinese classics I have read. The kids looked like they were having fun. It was cool to see the whole community come together to celebrate. I agree that it seems like a neat place to come up.
Another Awesome Adventure Thank You🙂❤👍Watching from New Brunswick Canada🙂

As a local of Jieyang, I hope more and more people will come to Jieyang to experience the most authentic Chinese Spring Festival
Thank you so much for all your coverage of CNY festivities- seeing the colour, tradition, music, happy faces … it moves me and I can’t help but hold my heart out of wonder. I love that tradition continues and I hope the generations don’t forget ♥️
This is so beautiful! I'm going to rewatch it several times! Thank you very much for the explanations!
Very enjoyable video. I’ve learned a lot about China and traditions. Please keep up your excellent contents. Thank you. Chuck from Chula Vista, California

What an amazing tradition and a beautiful custom to continue practicing!🙏🏼
You did a fantastic job showing us this celebration. Your videography and story telling skills are outstanding.

Teochew-such a familiar language; place of my ancestors. The practice, the culture, the worship, the Teochew music, the food all remain the same like what my great grandparents did 100+ plus back. Thanks for sharing.
...this is a great video Yan! - I,m lost of words. Here you can see the true spirit of the Chinese culture. I love it very much! Btw the majority people in Singapore are from here, Teow Chiew language is their dialect. Thank you for this one.
Love those beautiful old houses, can imagine myself waking thru those places with al my imaginations running wild, trying to visualise kids playing and older people sitting around on wooden stools gossiping away
Thanks!

I ❤️ yingge dance . Chinese cultural heritage warriors dance ✌️✌️✌️ thailand oso have na 😊
Fabulous! How wonderful to have this tradition and keep it so alive, involving the community. I too felt emotional seeing the dancers visit the classrooms. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing these fascinating traditions. I agree with you about how envious you are. In the fast pace world we live in personal connection gets lost, smaller communities have the luxury of embracing connections with such wonderful traditions. I especially enjoyed the drone shots Yan it gave such a wonderful perspective. ❤
