3 Days In Zhangjiajie - The "Avatar" Landscape - WE COULDN’T BELIEVE THIS PLACE! - Hunan, China 🇨🇳

● You should never visit Zhangjiajie in July and August. That’s when Chinese people have their vacation. It would simply be too crowded. The same goes for the first week of October.
● According to our guide, it’s best visited in mid-August and one month further, as well as in April, May (except the first week), and June 📅
● When you visit Zhangjiajie, I would highly recommend going with a guide. It’s a huge area and quite difficult to get around if you don’t know it. Also, you have to download Google Translate - it will be a huge help when traveling in China 🇨🇳
● You need a minimum of two days in Zhangjiajie. We spent three days, and it was perfect.
● Make sure you book a hotel that’s located close to the gate 👌🏨
● AND remember warm clothes when you are traveling in the cooler months. It can get very cold here 🥶

This video was amazing! Zhangjiajie looks absolutely incredible - those views from the mountaintops are unreal, straight out of Avatar. I can't believe how lush and green everything is. Hiking for 7km must have been tiring, but definitely worth it for those panoramas. And a McDonald's at the top of the mountain? Never would have guessed! It's interesting you put China that way, while I was in China, we always thought that US is Protoss because of high tech, how valuable each unit is, more costly but with higher hit points. Russia is Terran because of nukes and tanks, and China, we actually see ourselves as Zerg, because we have a lot more folks. How time has changed that an American would consider China Protoss. Perhaps in the new age, as we have declining population, China do become Protoss, US become Terran and India become Zerg.

I've been to China before and it's unbelievable. The nature is amazing, it's beautiful, the capital looks good, there are no homeless people, it's beautiful and safe. Having said that, I've been there and I feel like going again, but the West says it's not like where I went. It's really beautiful.

最后，我看到你side note提到你的中文名字发音问题，我给你一点小的建议和纠正，就是刚开篇的时候，你提到 in the heart of China's XX province，你的发音我听起来其实是中国另一个province 云南（yunan），而不是张家界所在的湖南（hunan），我知道这很难，你已经做的很好了，我只是想给一些帮助。另外，云南（yunan）也美极了，希望它在你的travel list。还有就是仲文的口语，初学的时候比较注重单个字的发音要清晰，比如你说张家界，要三个字分开说，慢一点点说，zhang - jia - jie（我知道你看着中国的拼音，你是拼不出来相同的中文读音的，可能你需要一些Google translate的工具帮助），尤其jia-jie不要连起来，这可能和你的母语和英语都很不同。

@@TalesFromAbroad-SJ Indeed we were wearing winter cloth back then but after a while of climbing you don't feel cold anymore. Although the weather was foggy we still have had 3 wonderful days in Wulingyuan national park. According to the locals the mountain views are very different in four seasons, we've only seen the mysterious side of the nature😀
Chinese water colour paintings always rendered such landscapes with foggy mist now captured into your vlog. Goes to show such images aren't imaginary but real life. Tks for taking me along this trip. 👍🆒👏👏 from 🇲🇾

Yep. The best part is that there are like 1000s of such places that exist in china. China is HUGE and diverse. From Himalayan ice mountains to flat deserts, to tropical oceans to flat wide expansive grass land plains, to lush rainforests.. China has it all.

@@tripmood365 我是中国人，也经常在很多地方飞无人机，中国的大部分地方飞无人机是不需要申请的，至少我是从来没申请过，但是到处飞，哈哈。只有极少数的地方会有明显的标志不可以飞无人机，例如紫禁城，上海外滩等等，当然了，靠近边界和军事敏感的地方是不可以的。
