I was so happy when low-rise jeans went out of style. Those pants are basically made for people with a 2 inch long butt crack and no butt whatsoever. No amount of cinching them with a belt helped contain my butt crack.

I was all about the layers, I would wear lace camisoles or tank tops over white t shirts, three quarter length jeans, and I had this one red newsboy cap I would pair with everything! God looking back is crazy, 2007 was sixteen years ago already!

I'm 23 and I wear several of these things occasionally. Since I became an adult I honestly thought the concept of trying to keep up with fashion trends, only wearing what's "in", and buying clothes solely because others say they're cool is just stupid and a waste of money. I think it's selling yourself short to let others dictate how you dress when you should wear what you enjoy.

Haha I had a single pair of gauchos and I wore them for maybe a few too many years after the trend. They were bright blue with a fake sewn-in belt in the same color fabric with a rhinestone circle. And they were hella comfortable.

2007 was 7th-8th grade for me and I mainly wore the first outfit or something similar, but I also wore cropped jeans and a Tshirt with a mini vest and if I ever wore a belt, regardless of the outfit, it was a rainbow studded belt that I wore until every stud came off. Makes sense: if they are ~30-40 now, this was normal/cool for them when they were in their 20s, when a lot of clothes shopping is done in one's life, so I'm sure 1) they still have a lot of these clothes, and 2) it probably shaped their personal style.
Loren E I don't want to agree, but as an almost 31 year old (but not a mom) I still wear all my super goth clothing from my 20s... as well as the trendy three quarter length cropped leggings and I love flared jeans. but for me, those wear the only things I wore. I've always leaned towards the goth spectrum, so a lot of the trends never affected me dir ctly, however a lot of my friends who are in thier 30s as well definitely follow these trends still.

The only thing I miss is that mid 2007 clothes seemed more forgiving for example I could wear a long top/dress with leggings and hide my rolls. Now cropped tops and short shorts are back and they make me feel self conscious.

2007. I was 14. Sperm eyebrows. Foundation and mascara were my ONLY makeup choice. Not forgetting foundation lips. Long top leggings and ballet pumps. Im glad I went passed that learning curve!!

ffioncw I mean this is the exact era that high school musical came out so
I got hardcore camp rock vibes. Although that was released 08, the first outfit was VERY reminiscent of some old school Demi Lovato looks.
I graduated in 07 and I distinctly remember seatbelt belts and clear bags. I also miss layering tanks under....everything.
I think This is the best one of this series so far since she actually 'expirienced' this era unlike the 1950's
