This was so nice. I feel you on not having the kids around to help decorate. Mine are both adults busy with their own lives now. Sigh.
It made me think of how I need to make new traditions that I myself groove. I'm lucky because in past years at least 1 kif would come over to do it with me. Now everyone is too busy.
Very nice and I like you have decided to decorate without help just myself for the first time in 35 years. I to am having a hard time but I’m taking it slow and letting go of what used to be and paying attention to what’s to come… May you enjoy your solitude!! I do wish I had some fur babies to snuggle with and today’s tea will be Hibiscus with orange blossom honey. Blessings 😊 oh and I subscribed!
It was strange decorating alone this year. I, too, took it slowly.

I'll be exploring making new traditions. It was so hard trying to pull on the old ones for that spark.

Beautiful video, thank you! It is very dark and cold up here now, if I didn't have to work I'd just stay snuggled in bed with the pup. But I will do a Solstice meditation tomorrow, and we have a little Charlie Brown tree that adds cheer to the house, but holy moly I just want to hibernate! XD Happy holidays to you and yours!
