    Very handy tutorial, I used this product to fill about 2mm thick of an area and it shrunk away from the edges to the point where it cracked. Can't emphasise enough how thin your layers need to be like in this video!

    As someone who is still experimenting with a lot of different techniques, this was really helpful! Thank you for making this and helping out modellers!

    You should make a guide about how to make the base itself. It looks awesome, even before the puddle stuff :)

    Hey! I'd love to know more about the process of building the base. Did you just pile on and build up the pigments how you liked it then applied the fixer or was there sand or something underneath to build up the earthy texture?

    one question here sir , i guess if you varnish after those effects you will kill the brightness so varnishing is a nono right?

    hi wondering if you could help me. looking to do a we effect with my orc blood bowl team and i want the models to look wet as though it is raining, would the wet effect you were using on the base work on the model itself? or do you have any other suggestions?

    • @genessismodels
      @genessismodels  Před 3 lety +1

      it would work but would take some experience to apply best practice on a test piece first

    The end result of the puddle gel effect does not look very much like the colour that is represented on the palette or label

    Did you just pile on and build up the pigments how you liked it and then applied the fixer or how did you get the earthy texture? :)

      ye its just that, use pigment and a pigment fixer and build it up, you can also use plater to build it up too

      Tread head here...I have been using Magic Sculpt 1 Lb. Epoxy Clay. It's a little expensive but I love the results and you can totally control the landscape. Then I nail it with some AK soil and pigments....
