Ford Fiesta blend door actuator fixes knocking issue fixed with part number 604-400

If your car is making that awful clicking noise from inside the dashboard, then it is most likely suffering from the dreaded blend door actuator failure.
Why that part is so defective and fragile from the factory is beyond me, other than the obvious that it’s a planned failure.
It’s so easy to replace and avoid getting burned financially.
The part I used was the Dorman #604-400 from a local parts store.
The tools from harbor freight were only $ 7.00. The 2 basic tools needed the right angle ratchet and the T20 bit set up.
After removing your glove box, the repair could be down in less than 15 minutes. Plus it’s a great excuse to clean it out.
It’s a tight space to work in but can be done quickly.
