Very good video was able to do mine in about 10 minutes after watching, I did the other actuator before and it was Farley simple a bit more uncomfortable but was able to do it myself, just one recommendation hold on to the screws because I drop one and expended more time finding it than doing the work 😂

I've got one of the last 2019 ST's built and my actuator just started doing this although I'm not sure which one. With your video I'll be able to determine which one and hopefully fix it myself...so thanks!

I have a UK right hand drive 2016 Fiesta….Are the actuators in the same position as the left hand drive models. I.e the faulty actuator sounds as though its on the drivers side (right side) does the steering cowel cover still need to be removed etc.? Also are the actuators the same type on both sides?

That’s a good question. To be honest, I’m not sure if the climate box would be set up the same on a right hand drive version. My guess honestly would be that the actuator would still be on the side of the steering wheel, so I would say yes, the cowel cover would still need to be removed. If the actuator is on the right hand side, it should be the same part as a left hand side. This is just my assumption. I’d try to look into some service info for the right hand models, but I do guess it’s just a mirrored version of the one I did here.

@@MichaelAdamsRocks ok, I tend to agree with you. I will have to buy the part & fit. Thanks for taking the time to reply. All the best, Gary.
