My wife and I have a 4 year old German Shepherd named Riggs. Riggs and I have been watching your videos since he was a puppy during the pandemic. Riggs would always perk up and watch the TV when Chip would come on screen. We will really miss seeing Chip. Sorry for your loss, man. I can’t imagine.

My wife and I recently and unexpectedly lost our bulldog that we raised from the time he fit in my hand. It don't ever get easier man. Chip will be forever missed. Thanks for sharing him with us
What was your bulldog like? Would you describe yours as a psycho potato at times?
We loved chip. My last dog was Steve he was a lurcher Staffie cross. He lived to 21yrs. It was terribly traumatic losing him even though we knew it coming for a while. I haven't had the heart to get another dog just yet even after a couple of years.. My adult son is at home and has lovely grey frenchie. He is an absolute nutball. Or he's asleep, lol.
@@joshuarayne1676 our Trooper was n olde and unlike any dog I've ever had. He was a gentle giant couch potato that could be physical if need be. He loved to ruff house with me since he was a pup well into his adulthood but not with momma. At 18 to 20 inches tall at the shoulder and right at 100lbs at his peak he was definitely " heavy duty".
My wife would give him a pack of lunch meat or something like that and tell him take this to daddy. And he would bring whatever it was to me wherever I was and drop it at my feet. Lol of course you got to give em a piece after that.
@@nospoon4799we’ve got a frenchie too and same thing man! Absolute nut bar she is!! Only 20lbs and she tears apart bully sized toys. Plays hours on hours then hits the sack like she pays the bills!! Haha

As a general artist and crafter, I feel like you haven’t yet explored the beauty of Q-tips for minor mistakes. I keep a jar of them on hand in my craft room for occasions like the accidental lip painting. More absorbent than a finger, more precise than a paper towel.

I have been watching you for many moons now, so much so I've lost track. Have learned a great amount from your videos and over the last six years have slowly acquired tools, lead pot (sometimes I forget to plug it in early, the suck). I've made baits from very basic chunkers that look cartoony to small finesse baits. I've experienced going to the river and the bait does nothing or you lose it in the first few casts and you forgot to make a master to copy it. Just wanted to take a minute and thank you for years of educational videos. I have prototypes out to friends, I'll be making an LLC soon and giving this a go, largely inspired by you!

I just got back from South America fly fishing for Arapaima. I think it would be really cool if you made one of your huge swim baits after them. They got a unique body and crazy colors! Or an arawana/peacock bass

Hey nate, I recently started carving with just a box cutter and sand paper, I've got a couple decent shapes carved out but it seems it takes so so long. I don't even have a hand saw. just use some wood that I tore out of an old couch thats softer than all the ash trees around me
i would love to see you try some of the turbodork paints, the color shift/pearls they have are pretty crazy, im sure you would have some fun with them!

This is amazing! If it was tuned to be more of a slow float, you might be able to achieve a hover stroll type action with it having that much body roll. That type of presentation as a crank down with trebles would be a game changer for the FFS dudes. Amazing work!

I feel like once that clear coat cup is done it needs to be popped out and carved into a bait, see if the layers adhered to each other at all lol. Also definitely interesting how the belly basically stabilizes the bait itself while freeing up the top half to wobble so heavily. Almost like a proper anchor which means the bit rolling around is a lot lighter.

Love ur stuff dude. For your test tank, perhaps install an underwater MIC so you can hear the "knock" or "chatter" of ur bait? it'd be a cool addition imo.
Your snapping the line technique for hung up lures saved me a chatterbait recently.
Marling. Love the Paint design and this a lot better lure. May I suggest trying to cut your lure down the middle then hollow out the inside then add steel shot for noise. Just a thought

i made a two peice bluegill glidebait an i got the action perfect and its one of the best feelings when it just works perfect on the first try
Hey marlin, all you need to do to make your video and test tank better is add a water pump into your tank and pump the water back into the tank, the bait can swim in place against the on coming water flow pump back into your tank and maybe put a GoPro under water watching your bait swim in place.
