Hey oscar, how you doin'💀
😊
What a movie !!!
Don't put it in your pocket, sir. Don't put it in your pocket. It's your lucky Oscar.
If you do, it will become just a statue, which it is 😀
I dont understand. Where do you want him to put it?
@@SerryJeinfeld32 so was my comment. "Where do you want me to put it?"

Best bond villian of all time
I've only ever seen a fee Bond films, yet I agree! I saw that movie in theaters however many years ago and I honestly still think about his performance from time to time. I was so taken by it. His character was so over the top, yet the mastery in the performance of him was all in the nuance. That put Javier Bardem on the map for me as a truly great actor.

When he said it in Spanish for his mama it brought be to tears 😭. Gracias Javier, La familia es todo
He deserves 10 oscars for that role.
Honestly one of the most deserved Oscars ever.
He totally deserved this…
Yep. He does lots of Spanish films too to this day, yet still can kill any role given to him in Hollywood.
No question, imho one of the best actors of our time.
@@thomasel9171 From Pedro Almovodar to an average texan man.
"Everything you did, led you to this point" Well worth it my guy! You definitely deserved that Oscar bro!!
You could see both Tommy and Josh were genuinely made up for Javier. A truly great actor. Loved him as Raoul Silva in Skyfall.
He deserved the hell out of that award. His performance was out of this world
Absolutely well executed it was such an unsettling and disturbingly beautiful performance by Javier truly and end uncomfortable every-time he was on screen, unpredictability was a huge key factor! Similar to Heaths Joker
As well deserved as any Oscar ever
He deserved that Oscar! He was calmly terrifying! My brain would melt if made a movie with Anthony Hopkins!
I hear that there is a cell open next to Dr. Lector.
Love to see that happen!
He is gorgeous, handsome, warm and super smart 🥰
I love his genuine shock when his name is announced.
I remember when he first got the nomination thinking, “Best SUPPORTING actor?”
The man practically MADE the entire film experience for us.
Totally agree.
I'd bet nobody who wins an acting Oscar cares if it's for supporting or lead role. Really just comes down to how the movie is written. An Oscar is an Oscar.
@@LT1 You’re probably right. Just saying that Javier carried the film on his shoulders, not in a supporting role.
@@VRmission38Josh Brolin was the main character.
@@VRmission38that's not what supporting role means
An Oscar for Spain. That haircut in the movie haunted me
Had a cut like that is the mid 70s
I found out through my spanish teacher who showed us some of his older parts that he was essentially the Spanish DeCaprio in the 90s. So glad to see him in mainstream stuff!
The character was ruthless that murder of the officer -was horrific. He’s a straight up evil villain -not an anti-hero..
Spain has many Oscars love
I loved the bit of his speech when he dedicated the award to his mother, the late Pilar Bardem… ❤❤❤
I always found him a charismatic, talented actor and also a very attractive man. He's not commonly beautiful but still, he is very attractive, handsome and sexy. He's manly.
Loved when he spoke in Spanish, it's his native language, so, why not.
If only everybody could accept their Oscar like he accepted it! No fake shaking and slobbering.
Short, concise, made a quick joke and briefly thanked the right people... especially his dear mother, and done.
If you think they're all acting their awards speech then why do you watch?

What a 100% absolutely deserved Oscar!!
Absolutely deserved . Extraordinarily happy for him.
Javier Bardem played one of the most compelling Anti-Hero/Villian characters in cinema history in No Country For Old Men. He gave a riveting performance that was right there with Daniel Day-Lewis' performance in There Will Be Blood. Ironically, both films came out the same year.
I would put Javier's performance up there with legendary performances in some classic movies like Humphrey Bogart in John Huston's The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre (1948), John Wayne in John Ford's The Searchers (1956), Henry Fonda in Sergio Leone's Once Upon A Time In The West (1968), and Robert De Niro in Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver (1976). Some 21st Century performances that are also great is Denzel Washington in Antoine Fuqua's Training Day and Tom Cruise in Michael Mann's Collateral.
He is very much a villain not an anti hero
Anti😭😭
The character he represents is basically symbolizing death. He's most definitely not an anti-hero my guy.
You are absolutely right. Agree 100%
@@juanify9707i think the reason why he said anti-hero/villian is because Anton is such an odd character and hes hard to label
Yeah he does alot of bad things and hes certainly the antagonist of the film, the confusion lies in his character. Hes so emotionless that some cant call a villian because he has no goal, hes got nothing that defines him as a man, hes more of a ghost than a person by how he acts and what he does
Most villians have a personality, they have a goal and alot of villians can actually be relatable or sympathetic
Anton has non of those qualitys, hes simply an alien that has no emotions inside him.
Usually villians enjoy the suffering they cause, but Anton doesnt even seem to enjoy the killing he does, to him its like an everyday thing which is why some are confused when trying to put him in a category
You can say hes evil, but some would argue that hes so disconnected with basic human emotions that calling him evil would be misinterpreting his character.
Hes more of a husk than any type of living person.
She didn’t even hesitate with that announcement
You’re telling me you want them to say “and the award goes to………………………….. …………………………………………………………………………………………………..…………………………………………………………………………………………………..…………………………………………………………………………………………………..………………………………………………………………………javier” Cuz that shit is annoying asf
Just beautiful!!!
