In last video, you said that when a instance is created, there is an option under "Storage (volumes) -> EBS Volumes" where a field called "Delete on termination" (having value in Yes/No). If value "No" is selected and at any moment instance is deleted then, volume is intact.
So, based on this understanding, if we mount a volume on instance and later on, volume should not be deleted if instance is removed from aws environment. Kindly clarify my understanding. Thanks in advance.
By setting the "Delete on termination" option to "No", you ensure that the EBS volume remains intact and is not automatically deleted when the associated instance is terminated.

Hi Gaurav, Thanks for the tutorial on various topics. I love to learn new things. One question regarding latency difference in EBS and Instance store- Both EBS and Instance store will be residing in AZ means in same Data center then will it be more difference in terms of Latency. Terminate EC2 will terminate Instance store I do understand. But latency should have very less difference.

How to fetch records from EBS while rebooting? for example using user-metdata?
1. We can attach multiple EBS Volume’s to one EC2 Instance.
2. Can we attach one single EBS Volume to multiple Instances, so the answer to this question is Yes and No too. Because EBS has 6 diffrent types and 2 of then support this feature.
3. EBS Volumes are locked in availibility zones which means if we create EBS volume in ap-south 1a availibity zone, then we can only connect this EBS volume to the instance which is created in this availibity zones only.
4. As we know that EBS volume is locked in az, but what if wanted it to move in different az, is it possible ? so, the answer to this question is Yes. We can do it using Snapshots.
5. When we create EBS, then AWS by default create one more replica of it in same availibity zone. This ensures fault tolerance.
6. In case of Instance Storage, if AWS wants to replace that server due to some reasons, then AWS will stop that server, but this will lead to loss of data, but before doing this AWS notifies the user.
