Hi Gaurav, your videos are fantastic, thanks for posting them, I have a query, when you say Golden image, do you mean a script written under user data to mount a volume, install and start nginx and so on , when configuring launch template?
In case of relational database we go with vertical auto scaling whereas in case of non relational database we can go with horizontal auto scaling
If there is CPU intensive task then we should go for vertical scaling

I don’t know I just started learning Devops so according to me vertical scaling is use in web application mostly because if we go for horizontal scaling the chances of instance getting fail is more if that whole instance get shutdown the server will be discarded as in vertical scaling there is backup multiple servers to handle the load am I right sir ?

sahi me bhaiyya bohot traffic ke vajhese fifa sahi se nai dekh paya.jio cenemas app vale scaling sahi nai kiya servers ka aisa meko laga us time.bohot kharab user experience tha bro.

Hi Gaurav Bhai, i have one doubt , what about if that server having database in it? after scaling to 3, how do we know on which instance user store the data ? and what about data when we decrease instance size ?
