we used to buy bottled water too. but to save money we decided to install a water filter, it cost like 3000php. you can just replace the filtration tubes every few years.

You can also drink the water here straight from the faucet, it's drinkable, but sometimes, if you want to be safe from any sickness brought by drinking any tap water especially when it's typhoon season you may buy purified or mineral water just to be sure to stay safe from any contamination from the water reservoir brought about by the typhoon! ☺️

@@hellophilippines513 Well actually, you guys can also use tap water in everything such as washing the dishes, washing meats, and plates, and even washing your hands and also for brushing your teeth. You guys don't need to use the purified water inside the bottles to wash your dishes and other stuff. People only buy a few gallons or bottles of water just for drinking purposes, and each 1 gallon of water in fact lasts 3-4 days. I hope this helps you to save up some effort, energy, water, and money. Have a good day☺

There is a water source in Valencia where it came from the side of the mountain( spring water) and its side of the road.Ask people where it is . Its safe mineral water from a pipe. A vlogger "old dog new tricks" I think has an old vlog about this.

Have u ever try a fresh water source from mountain., Try to go there a bring a bottle and compare the refilled water from fresh water., In Philippine water actually is abundant it's only been bought by local business people., thats way we buy water because capitalis people drill fresh water from mountain and sell to the City or crowded place.😢
So many tourist attraction places to visit in Dumaguete you just Google it or asks locals or your Tourism building near the Municipal Hall.
That place is very familiar among locals...most of the days that place is busy....

There are water filters that you can attach in the your kitchen faucet. It converts the tap water to filtered water that you can drink. That’s what I have in my condo and it saved me a lot of money from buying water and having to refill it. I’ve been doing that for almost 4years now and I’m fine. 😊
I reside in Metro Manila ( Valenzuela City). , i use tap water as drinking water and i am okay. No need to buy purified water in water stations. You can buy water filters for home use to save money.. It is still your personal choice , where you feel safest when it comes to drinking water and depends on the place where you reside. You can actually ask your local water distributor in your area regarding the potability and safety of your tap water. God Bless. Stay safe always!!!😊❤❤❤

In Cavite, for drinking, we buy purified water. For all other things, we use tap water.
Here in northern Luzon we drink tap water or from underground until today. But there's so many water refilling station since 2000 came but still, you can drink water directly coming from underground...you can wash dishes,foods and use tap water to cook your foods. Save the refilled water for drinking if you don't like tap water
Purified water business is good. You should try it.

it depends on where you live. manila you should probably have purified water. in the province, i just drink from the tap or the pump outside. i dont live in the philippines but i dont get sick from the water, either my stomach is strong or water is clean.

Using bottled water for washing your dirty plate is totally unnecessary. . :-) You can wash your dirty plates with ordinary tap water :-) If you want to make sure your plates or utensils are clean, you can boil them in a large pot for a couple of minutes :-) Or You can install a 3-stage home water filter in your house, which will cost you a little over 3000 pesos, and use that instead to wash your dishes which will be way cheaper. :-) cheers. Also, make sure to keep your sponge clean or sterilized too :-)

i can see my neighbors have their water bottles delivered here in metro manila. you can ask the water stores there in your area if they deliver, so you don't have to carry those heavy bottles. in our main house, we have always been using a water purifier (upgraded already) in our kitchen for more than 20 yrs now. someone from Lux comes to change the filters every year. need someone strong to carry those bottles! for our condos, we just use the on-tap water purifiers. so convenient to use, just attach to the faucet itself and change filters every few months.
Water delivery would be convenient. It was so heavy that won's Daddy sprained his back several times. Haha. Refilling water in the Philippines is very interesting to Koreans. Thank you for watching my video 🥰

필리핀에서 세탁하실때 비싼옷 그냥 빨면 옷다 버립니다.
TIP : 필리핀 물은 석회수이기 때문에 빨래 하실때 베이킹소다를 썪어서 빨아주세요. 또한 석회수를 뜨겁게 해서 빠는건 좋지않아요.
석회수는 머리카락과 피부를 상하게 합니다. 그래서 필리핀은 보습제가 많아요. 필리핀에서는 항상 샤워후엔 보습제 필수 입니다. 머리카락도 에센스 발라주세요
또한 필리핀이 수명이 짧은 편인데 대부분 결석으로 인한 신장염 또는 신장암으로 제때 치료받지도 못하고 죽어요. 석회수가 원인이죠.
필터는 매번 갈아줘야되고 은근히 돈이 많이나가니...물은 꼭!! 사서 마시세요.

annyeonghaseyo..yes you found a cheap place to buy water. there are locals who are really shy when a camera is pointed at them. usually before they refill with new water, they wash the container bottles first, to make them clean. after they clean the bottle, then they put fresh water in it.

We used either purified water, spring water, distilled water or alkaline water.

I know the tap water in the Philippines is treated. But if you are not used to the water you will have a bum stomach. When I first got to the U.S. , water here is supposed to be clean, but I had a bad stomach when I drank the water in Maryland
