If you have time to go to Cebu, try to visit the Cebu Zoo adventure Park located in Carmen, Cebu. Covers 170 hectares with more than a thousand animals from 120 different species it is the biggest zoological park in the philippines.

It's probably a private local zoo... requires overall rehabilitation, and better facilities, monitoring and maintenance.
The iron fence separating the guests from the crocodile pond has weak foundations, most probably just makeshift. I am sure it will immediately collapse into the pond, if three people simultaneously leaned on it.

I stayed in Florida for 9 years before I moved to the West Coast, which is California. I left when I encountered snakes and alligators roaming near the lakes, mostly in the countryside.
You know, Americans, they don't kill them they bring it back to their habitats.

this is a private zoo, the Manila Zoo is government owned. Provinces outside the NCR are not given any budget for their own upkeep so infrastructure development is low, that is why people from Visayas and Mindanao want federalism and scrap the 1987 constitution.
