His face of annoyed when she says ay ya ya ya is incredible.
I cringed too lmao
LOL his girlfriend is ME 😩🥴😂😭. Her comments are cracking me up.
Because she’s being disrespectful.
Kai Wainscott she doesn’t know that much about the marine corps because she doesn’t focus on that,Not everybody knows about it.
Lookatcurryman there’s a difference between not knowing and then sounding stupid
You know he got butt hurt once she said “it looks harder than navy bootcamp” 🤣🤣
It was an easy read. 💯😂 Kinda funny cause it actually does look way more difficult.
Not really, it's a fact.
Jesus the fact she is in the service but is that clueless is amazing...... Lol
I was in the navy I hope the Marines boot camp is harder
😭😭
His girlfriend just can't get over the "why are there hats tipped forward"
They tipped them forward to get the brim of that Smokey right into your forehead. It is a tool to intimidate you. I'm a third generation Marine I thought it was funny.
I still can't get over it either but, I think the only purpose is for intimidation and to cover their eyes. 🤔 Not too sure. I'm but an ordinary couch potato. 💀
Its to keep the cover tightly on your head so it doesnt fall off easily. Plus helps with sun
So the rain will run off. Just kidding.
It’s a hat/ cover/ headgear, so it’s multipurpose headwear, especially since it’s made by the military. It’s canted per regulation. Army uses AR670-1, USMC probably has their own regulations on headgear wear.
3:20 my parents would be waiting by the phone laughing because my dad was a marine
Your dad is a Marine once a Marine always a Marine. Semper Fi
Parents: "I'm sure my son/daughter are doing just fine"
*phone rings*
Parents: "Hi sweetie! How are you? Did you get there safe?
Drill Instructors: OSHOEJEHHEBDJICHDDPQJEHBDJ
*click*
Haha
LOUDER! SCREAM IT YOU!
I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe
Dead💀💀😂
Yeah they should just call their recruiter or pretend to call someone because I couldn't bare the embarrassment.
I attended MCRD San Diego in 1989. Some funny things:
1. They were making a boot camp movie so film crews followed us around the whole 12 weeks. When you first get off the bus and stand on the yellow footprints you’re freaking out. Until they put us back on the bus and do it again from another camera angle!
2. I was 5’10” and 120 lbs. I was placed on double rations, so I had to eat twice as much as everyone else, in the same time.
3. My worst screw up was during the Company Commander’s inspection. He asked me a question and in my zeal to sound off loud, I accidentally spit in his face. He just chuckled, but the DI didn’t take it so well.
4. I don’t remember gas chamber as too bad. It was way worse out in the fleet. MCAS Cherry Point, where I was stationed, had a chemical trail with barb wire and other obstacles to get through. They once popped a CS grenade right between my legs when I was crawling under the barbed wire. That was so strong that all my exposed skin was burning. I got my mask on, but it still sucked.
5. During a hump at Camp Pendleton we were resting on the beach. An honest to God unopened Dr. Pepper can washed up not 10 feet from me. I was jonesing so hard for that, but with deuce gear and full pack I couldn’t move quick and stealthy enough to grab it before a DI saw me. He was not pleased.
6. During the final few weeks we picked up a new DI, apparently fresh from the DI school. He was marching us to chow one night and got lost. He was pretty exasperated and had the guide call out directions at the intersections to get there.
7. As boot camp progresses the DI’s gradually become more chill and more human. We had a short Puerto Rican DI who was hard as nails and constantly scared the crap out of us. He could climb the ropes by using two ropes with just his arms. Towards the end after dinner he marched us someplace quiet, formed a school circle, and took his Smoky Bear cover off. There we found out he was a huge comic book collector and he taught Sunday School at his church.
8. The night before graduation we had a talent show. Our senior DI found out that I could do a perfect impression of one of our DI’s and he had me do it, and he put his Smoky Bear on my head. It was pretty awesome and crazy funny.
I never got double rats and still managed to throw 20 pounds on by becoming an artist recruit and going to late chow all the time.
Our DIs were hard as nails right up until the end. Talent show???? WTF I wish we did that. They let up on us MAYBE 10% the last couple weeks. I gained 15 pounds on normal rations. First time in my life I got 3 meals a day. I'll be honest, I hated the Marines. Bunch of chest thumping half-wits.
2. that would be me! i m 186cm and 70kg.. how much weight did you gain?
Our senior DI hated our guts. We were his first class and we didn't do well in initial drill. Things snowballed from there and he was harder on us the further our platoon got to graduation. We ran between activities in the Crucible and were always there 20 minutes prior to other platoons. In the 20 minutes we did side straddle hops, push ups, etc. Needless to say there was no school circles that lead to fun or talent shows. MCRD Parris Island 3rd Battalion
@@NoHandsAndy I had a similar experience. Senior DIs first platoon and he was an idiot. We go fucked with pretty bad. "Stand up, sit down. Stand up, sit down for hours on end. As well as all you mentioned.
“Trumpet is played” Austen has ptsd
I read that just as it happened
Lol me too
What is ptsd

The Asian Drill Instructor that you said “looks intense” is very intense. He was my kill hat.
oh cool
Platoon 3033? Lima company?
Whole Lotta Lag No, when did you go?
Looks like the dude from barbell brigade LOL
3069 here
his poor facr every time she said "wow thats a lot harder than the navy boot camp"
Navy seals boot camp makes this look like regular navy boot camp
@@Choink2558 but that's special operations training not basic lol
@Al Kamil Have you been to BUDS, better yet basic training for any military service?
@@Choink2558 There is no "Navy Seal boot camp".
@Al Kamil You, sir, are an idiot.
Hearing her stressed me out
Sameeee omg
All he needs to do to improve this is mute her mic and make her wear a bikini, instantly much better.
I don’t blame her, it’s not like she went through that and knows everything, at least she’s not saying ‘Oh that looks easy’
Bro that was hilarious!!!
Girlfriend: omg he just fell
Austen: he'll be alright.
🤣 lmao!!!
It was
@@morganbangs2969 Everyone wears a safety harness.
Her: "Marine bootcamp is definitely alot harder then navy boocamp"
Him: "alright u guys well thats it for todays video"😂😂
Lmfaooo
They break the seal to allow for the contaminated air to get in their mask. Once they have contaminated air in their mask, they reseal then clear their mask of contaminated air by blowing that air out of their mask. Think of it like this, once you get the command of "GAS! GAS! GAS," a Marine will don their mask. But, they could have contaminated air inside their mask, to which they have to clear it. That is why they break the seal.
"I'm only here because the Army recruiter was on vacation!"
She sounds like Katy perry
I'm leaving June 29th for boot camp can't wait!
Good luck!
@@dr4gongirl434 Thank you
Vincent Tyminski Which branch are you joining?
Good luck bro! Greetings from Hungary!
Good luck, your life will change for ever, for the good.

Yes sir! Blow this up so he sees it !
I wanna be a navy seal so bad but im only 14
@Garrett Ledbetter damn we'll be there in no time it'll feel like tmr. Well good luck i hope you pass all the requirements and stuf
I don’t think I could watch through a second one

I always feel like Sara takes his military stuff as a joke. Her reactions are just uninterested.
yeah its kind of disrespectful if you asked me. shes totally spoiled.
ccv jd you know she has a job as a nurse right?
ccv jd I’m saying she doesn’t have to look to him for financial security since she earns her own. Austin is definitely smart enough to dump her if she’s a gold digger. And it’s backwards af of u to assume women are just after money lol
yeah rly shes kinda annpying ngl
I agree she is a bit spoiled...it pissed me off when she said “that would be like fun”
At the graduation, there was two guys who passed out and one got a concussion from hitting his head on the ground
It’s fun to see these reactions, and then to spot myself in the vid is just the icing on the cake😂
The drill instructor's ribbons toward the end;
Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal,
National Defense Service Medal,
GWOT Service Medal
Their voices, they regularly lose them.
Keep up the good work man! Really enjoy your content. Really inspiring, fun and entertaining in this hard times. Thank you!
Thank you Denisa!
I love your vids because you inform people while also making it fun!
the reason they're aren't allowed in SD my friend whos a marine said its becuase they are building female barracks still in SD. And they have to take a test before you go to bootcamp to determine if you can go to bootcamp.
My brother left for Parris island about two weeks ago I miss him lol we got a call from him and you can hear the drill instructor yelling in the background btw we got a call at 4 am
Sarah going “aye aye aye aye” legit made my day. 😂😂
Hey Kayla ....How's it going? Where you from ?
@@anonymousgentleman1124 weirdo
Very good content good job keep it up
There is much more to our boot camp as well that’s a glimpse of what we do!
“Ohhhh, that’s already way harder then the navy” *eyes roll over to the camera
When Sara screamed "signing out" at the end it was great 😂😂😂
we need more !!
I need more of these reactions
Coming soon!
I’m literally crying just watching this because I don’t handle getting yelled at well
Neither do I
🤣🤣🤣🤣
“THaTs SeXiSt” bruh u have to be kidding right🤣🤣
Nice video! I look forward to the Army reaction video 😎
It’s coming!
Wow, so intense. Sarah you make me laugh 😆. Thanks you 2!!
Watching her reaction is alot harder than Navy boot camp
When I had gone through boot camp, after the crucible, I was an a working party with another new marine and two recruits. DI’s came in and kicked the recruits out of the squadbay but we got to stay. Turns out they were about to pick up their new platoon and we got to watch them rehearse for Black Friday when they pick up the recruits. Pretty cool experience
Love this series
Hoo Rah!!!👍💪🇺🇸 Thanks 4 sharing Austen & Sarah.😉
So when are we gonna get “Bugle stick fight with girlfriend!”😂😂
That actually is a great idea

Austen Alexander y’all should do it and post it.

as soon as i arive i would fall to my knees crying. i hate being yelled at and i would get so intimidated
react to the coast guards and then the army Business Insider edition

okay but like I LOVE YALL!!!
THANK YOUUU
A friend of my Father was a Drill Instructor during Vietnam. He had severe PTSDs from sending so many to their deaths. He spent his last days reading their obituaries and crying. He died at the age of 45. I never forgot that our DI's were human too. Semper Fi.
do the "quarantine" edition for the Army BCT reaction video since the pandemic started if they have a quarantine edition though.
Love u guys!❤😍😍
Good stuff brother
thanks man
Im sorry about your girlfriend.... she sounds like she has never had to think before in her life
I like "Sappy Sarah". She's curious. She has questions. He's -a Marine- Navy. She's not.
Anyone looking in from the outside would have the same questions. What a degrading comment. I'm sure there are topics you know nothing about.
@@Anonymous-fj2uo the difference is asking a question that was literally just answered. Reminds me of those who ask questions during movies that no one has seen yet and the question you have no one has an answer to, even if they did why are you talking instead of just watching and LEARNING! That's the difference. I agree 500% with OP.
She got in my nerves more than the DI did.
@@AlexAtGuilford Are you saying Austen is a marine? Just checking.
@@doot_1 I misspoke. Austen's Navy. Thanks.
It’s interesting because My World History teacher was giving us a glimpse into the WWI era and he set up the classroom as a maze (to resemble the trenches) played gun shots and explosions on a loud speaker, and had those flashing lights that ppl use on Halloween. We had to crawl through the “trench”. Anyway that’s any experience that I had that is somewhat similar to The crucible lol.
If history class is like that I’d definitely take it 😂 that seems fun and a great way to remember the info
Malak Draws Yeah! He’s one of my favorite teachers of all time because of his interactive assignments! We only had boring assignments if someone was rude or did something worthy of a research paper lol.
Thanks for your service man
Please do more
Everytime she talks I lose brain cells
faxs
As a poolee we have to take an IST (Initial Strength Test) once a month in order to be able to go to boot. We have to pass before we go. It’s the first test we take on Black Friday. After that we have the PFT, CFT, and Swim qual. Also the rifle range, gas chamber, and crucible.
Ahhhh gotcha
Syd M gas chamber is part of the crucible portion of training well it was 4 years ago when I went in
Love your video👍👍👍👍
Thank you
Austin I love these type of video's, not only due I get to see ya'll in bootcamp, but I get to see your facial expressions towards your girlfriends comments 😂
😂 My whole life is just reacting to her unfiltered comments
I had a recruit in my platoon last name Hayden who broke his forearm during the first pugil stick exercise. Actually.....he was the first one in the pair and we all heard the snap.
4:02 men are stronger and faster than women I'm not denying women can pull amazing feats of strength but if I want an army I would want it to be all if not mostly men
First part of rifle training is dedicated to marksmanship principles, there is a second part they do later where they learn the combat side. Tactical carries, practical application etc where they will hold the weapon conventionally.
Your videos are awesome 👌
Thank you!
DO AIRFORCE NEXT!
It’s coming’
Austen Alexander u better
“Look at that, that poor guy” 😂😂
This video was the watered down version of Marine Corps boot camp.. Yall should react to 12 weeks of Marine Corps Boot Camp Paris Island
I was @ 1/6 in 1993 and we called the Navy dress whites Ice Cream suits...lol but gotta love the Corpsmen.
The girl that she pointed out graduated from my Highschool ROTC
Boot camp was fun looking back.
But no way would I want to do it again.
Luckily, as a Marine I don't have to
Former active Marine and been out for 10yrs, Decided to go back into the service and have to do army boot... Told my buddies from the corp and was met with "enjoy summer camp, don't forget to write, and don't let them young kids pick on you" lmao ( Had to edit and add in "active" because some people get butt hurt. I know "once a marine, always a marine" but i originally said "former marine", not ex marine)
You're damn right right.
Oorah Devil Dog
I love sara!!!!
I noticed the MARSOC Marine Raiders Insignia on your T-Shirt...
It’s hard to watch the video since she talks to much when I’m trying to hear.
I watched the actual video before seeing this reaction.
Women do love to talk
Its a reaction video...
I like "Sappy Sarah". She's curious. She has questions. He's -a Marine- Navy. She's not.
Then watch the original video......you came for their reaction.....
I can just imagine this happening:
Dad: Son, can you hand me the salt?
Son: *Screaming loudly* Aye, Sir!
Dad: Ok...?
Im lowkey hyped up to ship there
@austenalexander Coast Guard BootCamp next!
Do an army ranger won of these PLEASE
Austen looked so annoyed by her😂
Parris Island was one of the most rewarding experiences in my 73 years around the sun. It was also great to go back in 2006 when my eldest son graduated.
That was my old stomping ground, 3rd Bn Lima before the new barracks we were in the boonies...
The marines still practice with bayonets because it is tradition and every event in the crucible is named after a marine who shows what it means to be a marine and they do eat they get three days worth of food for the crucible
Shit when I went, they gave us only 3 MRE’s for the 50 plus hours.
sniper1234ist 3 MRE for us too
Bryan Copca alright cause everyone that I have talked to and some other things that I saw they were giving two days
Matteo Donato Damn that’s weird,
They gave us 3 so we can learn how to ration in a tough scenario. Some people were starving because they are their shit quick hahaha
You get 3 meals, not three DAYS worth of food. (actually you get less than 3 whole MRES, one is either the side dish OR the meal)
Sarah’s voice was really good in this
I taught her how to tone it down lol
I just love you 2 together ❤
She’s so sassy! I love her 😂❤️
I believe the Marines call those light brown uniforms “Charlie’s!”
The ones that the DIs predominantly wear are Service Charlies. The title and order of the uniforms are based on the color of the trousers (pants) and/or coats and if the khaki shirt is long sleeve or short sleeve. For the Service uniforms it decends from Alpha to Charlie (Long sleeve w/ Coat, long sleeve, short sleeve), while the Dress Blues worn during graduation and other like ceremonies decends from Alpha to Delta (Coat w/medals, Coat w/ribbons, long sleeve, short sleeve). The sleeve length of the khaki shirt is based off of daylights savings time (DLST= short sleeve, Standard= long sleeve).
Hopefully this over explanation helps a little.
SHE IS ASKING TO MANY QUESTIONS
Too many stupid questions and comments too🤦♂️😂
I like "Sappy Sarah". She's curious. She has questions. He's -a Marine- Navy. She's not.
I am just surprised she doesn’t know ANYTHING about the military. It’s just more fun though :)
With the blue trousers and short sleeve top is dress deltas
Austen, have her watch a Navy OCS vid....great mix between Marine Corps and Navy Bootcamp. Better yet...have her watch Navy OCS chow hall procedures....
Btw you’re girlfriend is so funny her little remarks are hilarious😂😂
when she say “iyiyiyi” at 6:36 I thought of the song Hey Mama when Nicki Minaj starts rapping.
"Warmly welcomed..."
Yes. Very warmly. Just, you know, a bunch of screaming.
Like that dramatic music in the background.
Ha the sandpit at the classroom brings back memories
11:34 I’d be getting smoked for days because there is no way I’d not laugh my ass of if a drill instructor came dressed like that 😂
naw you wouldn't be laughing trust me.. from the moment you get off the bus you realize that your just a # your barely be thinking
My guy the moment you get off that bus, you’ll lose your common sense. You wouldn’t laugh trust me
