Thank you for keeping it real Phillip especially with the bit at the end, it can be hard to overcome perfectionism and analysis paralysis and feel like from the first video it has to be top tier. There are always a million reasons not to do something or to put it off if you look for them, but it’s obviously the truth that there’s no way to learn without just jumping in and doing it. Amazing story! When I first started my channel I kinda wanted to do it in a similar way. I wanted to incorporate aspects of my life, do behind the scenes stuff, chat a little, etc. It didn't seem to catch on for my audience, but that could be because I didn't try it long enough. I've found if I don't get IMMEDIATELY into the cooking there's a huge drop-off at the beginning. I think what she's done here is amazing! Has nothing to do with her gender. Great stuff as always man. I've really enjoyed being a member of your cooking creators group also. I'm connected to many of the members you featured. It's a great resource, man. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for sharing, my long time dream is to start my eastern Mediterranean cooking channel, I have my brand done and millions of recipes however the only thing that is stressing me out more then anything is proper filming and the overwhelming amount of equipment I need to make this happen. Everything from set up to editing 🤯 help ! do you have a class online or video any advice? I would love to focus on creating my amazing food rather then how my camera is set and all those details that give me so much anxiety 🫣

@@PhilipLemoine yes i did! it was crazy. i went from 25,000 subs in late feb last year to this by the end of 2022. it does prove that ppl can still grow with minimal resources. i took your tips and made it work. its all about giving ppl value
