He could. Lower views = lower ad revenue. But with Machinima he had a REALLY good contract since he was one of the early ones to the network, and his cost of living and expectations for salary were way lower. He was mostly riding high off the minor efame and ability to play games for a living. He rarely completed games from what I recall but that seemed to genuinely be because he would get frustrated with the game, not that the views would drop off...esp since some of his playthroughs would go into the hundreds of parts lmao.
Yup 99 and 100 are without a doubt the funniest rage quits of all time. I love that the Kirby one is so infamous that even a news article was written about it LOL. DSP is truly the worst gamer on the planet.

Additional content for Shadows of War. DPS was aware that the last act was badly done before hand because he heard what other reviewers and let's players had said. He dismissed their takes and made fun of them. Something along the lines of they're just not good enough and stuff like that. Only to end up not finishing it like so many others.

It’s so funny to me. So, this video wouldn’t exist if DSP didn’t make this such a point of contention. Anytime he’s “accused” of rage quitting, he either twists the definition or lies. Because of that, this video exists. Nothing inherently wrong with rage quitting otherwise.

I used to beat Street of Rage 2 on my genesis when I was eight. He couldn't do it co-op, and save scrumming. He also couldn't beat Mario Odyssey, a literal game for children.

Does he have autism? Legitimate question. I'm a caretaker for people with "disabilities" and he acts A LOT, almost exactly like one of the people I take care of, and his thing is video games, and can become quite impatient. Same mannerisms. Same explosion of anger and frustration.
I have autism and I would say no. More like narcissism, maybe borderline personality disorder, maybe even a sociopath. I would say most autistic people are more intelligent than Phil.
Anger and a lack of patience aren't necessarily autistic traits when it comes to videogames. Anyone can get upset at games. What Phil does, THIS many times however, does constitute a personality disorder. If anything, he's a textbook narcissist.

I don't make videos for money, and I don't really consider CZcams to be a job so much as a hobby, but I occasionally upload gaming videos, which are usually very short.
I've been playing video games for about half my life now, which might sound impressive, but I'm still rather young, and I haven't been able to play as much as I used to due to my busy schedule.
...even with all these new responsibilities weighing me down, I could still beat DSP in nearly any game.
I fully understand and respects to yourself. I would say this, if you can make a hobby into something you love to do part or full time, I say go for it. Life is too short. Even people playing in a competitive supporting scene who make money from winning positions or getting scholarships, why not, life is too short :) But yeah mate, I wish you all the best with everything in general, hobby, work or passion :)
