Pacquiao started pro at 106 lbs, become the 'Lineal' champion at 112 lbs way back 1998 at age of 19.
Now at 42 yo, he's fighting against the # 1 welterweight, # 5 pound for pound best, undefeated, unified champion Spence Jr (bigger, heavier, taller, longer reach, 11 years younger). They're fighting for the 'Lineal', Ring, WBA, WBC, IBF 147 lbs titles. That's an EXTRAORDINARY feat for Pacquiao.
Pacquiao's legacy is way greater than Mayweather. And Pacquiao is greater than M. Ali.
Remember that Pacquiao is fighting outside his comfort zone. He's an Asian, a Filipino fighting outside the Philippines while Mayweather Jr is playing safe in America especially inside Las Vegas.
Whoever reads this, may the Lord God in heaven bless you and your family 🙏😇

*What is "Greatness"?? Floyd* ducked the dangerous Pacquiao Rematch after a controversial decision, and instead he makes $50 Million in one night, fighting a guy who has 0 Professional or Ametuer Boxing wins. That's some pretty great Business and Financial moves lol
*On The Other Hand... Pacquiao,* (who has been in way more wars through the years), is ducking nobody. He's STILL fighting the best, and at the extremely old-age of 42, is now stepping up to challenge, not just the best in his division, but one of the best p4p fighters in the sport, in Errol Spence. *That's True Boxing Greatness!!*
*As much as I didn't want Logan Paul vs Mayweather - I'm glad it did, because it perfectly exemplifies why "PACQUIAO > MAYWEATHER."* Yes, Mayweather was the better businessmen who retired Undefeated - but technically we all saw him lose vs Castillo, and the vast majority of fans did not have him winning vs Pacquiao. Furthermore, around half of Mayweathers opponents would walk out of the ring after 12 rounds, with barely a scratch on them - while most of Pacquiao's would get KO'd, Hospitalised, or atleast their face smashed in.
If *"Logan Paul vs Manny Pacquiao"* were to happen for example - Pacquiao would KO or atleast hospitalise Logan. *Facts.*

Many had catchweight fight with Cotto for the WBO title and Freddy admitted that Cotto was damaged goods by the time Manny fought him. Also, his win against Oscar De La Hoya is slightly tainted for me cause Oscar hasnt fought at welterweight in years. People forget that the Floyd fight against Oscar was at junior middleweight. And by the time Manny fought Mosley, Mosley was already on the decline.

THE DOWNSIDE OF FLOYD MAYWEATHER'S CAREER ( In History )
    1. Mayweather never fought OUTSIDE Las Vegas or fight other countries But Pacquiao fought everywhere same as the other fighters.
    2. Mayweather has many WINS CONTROVERSY than Pacquiao has many QUESTIONABLE losses.
    3. Mayweather chooses his OPPONENTS but Pacquiao chooses by Fans around the world who he fights.
    4. Mayweather has many demands including his gloves OPPONENTS but Pacquiao only demands only for the right price.
    5. Mayweather has VERY LOW KO records but Pacquiao has more DAMAGE to his opponent and the majority sent to hospital, he has the higher percentage of KO.
    6. Mayweather AFRAID TO LOSE his undefeated record but Pacquiao fights like a WARRIOR either win or lose.
    7. Mayweather gives the fan a BORING FIGHT but Pacquiao gives more EXCITING to the fans to watch.
    8. Mayweather keeps his style HUGGING, RUNNING, AND ELBOW LOCKS to avoid his opponent hitting him but Pacquiao NEVER hugs, run, or any illegal actions in the ring.
    9. Mayweather has been proven using ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE but Pacquiao never been proven.
    10. Mayweather DUCKS MANY TIMES during his prime but Pacquiao fought and WIN AGAINST the undefeated prime.
    11. Mayweather has fought UNPROFESSIONAL BOXING RECORD OPPONENT but Pacquiao still fighting even at his age 40+ still fighting REAL PRIME FIGHTERS.
    12. Mayweather fights for FAME AND MONEY but Pacquiao fights for LEGACY AND FOR HIS FANS.
    13. Mayweather has fought FEW PRIME CHAMPIONS but Pacquiao has beat MORE PRIME and YOUNG CHAMPIONS.
    14. Mayweather alone is the "ONLY ONE" IN BOXING HISTORY WHO NEVER EVER BOX OUTSIDE Las Vegas and other countries.
    15. Mayweather won MOST PROBABLY TO ALL HIS FAVOR that includes choosing his own location, gloves opponent, drug test, judges/referee, and unprime opponent.
    16. Mayweather RETIRED MANY TIMES to avoid prime fighters but Pacquiao NEVER THINK OF RETIREMENT in boxing at the moment even during his Prime and after, even at his 40+ age still fighting young and current Prime fighters.
    17. Mayweather has beaten 7 women including his wife in 2001 in his career but ALI AND PACQUIAO and other Boxing legends never hurt their partners or other people outside the ring.
    18. Mayweather proclaims "HIMSELF" AS THE BEST EVER OR GREATER THAN ALI but people around the world "NEVER EVER PROCLAIM HIM" as the greatest or best ever except for ALI AND PACQUIAO.
Note: Not all people want to watch Mayweather because of his an exciting fighter but instead his a BORING one. But, FANS wants to watch him just want to see his first LOSE in a fight. ( In Majority)
FLOYD MAYWEATHER AND HIS FANS BELIEVE HIS THE GREATEST
    1. His Undefeated 49-0 MCGREGOR is not included since that was his first fight as a professional boxing career to be considered as an amateur.
ANSWER: Well many boxers in history break that record above 50 - 0 and some reach 89 with “TRUE and REAL EXCITING FIGHT” wins before getting his first loss like the Legend Julio Cesar Chavez, Rocky Marciano 49-0, Ricardo Lopez 51-0 who never duck and FOUGHT EVERYONE AND ANYWHERE.
    2. He BEAT Pacquiao and Canelo.
ANSWER: For Canelo yes, but for Pacquiao, it’s a controversy that includes the arm injury and the illegal substance that Floyd took before the fight, as well as the illegal tactics showing in the ring, the location where Floyd wants to fight to his favor (as always) and even Manny lost he asked for a rematch and still Floyd refuse. It doesn’t mean if you beat Pacquaio you are Greater of all time than him, just like Muhammad Ali lost many times and give chance to his opponent for a rematch just to prove he's the greatest and never duck anyone in the ring that’s why people called him the Greatest of all Time. To become the Greatest you must be markedly superior in your character the quality you showed, inspiring people to do good, motivate, being courageous, never afraid to lose, and full of respect to one another.
    3. He Beat them all.
Answer: Yes! that's true. Mayweather beat them all that's why he got his 50-0 "BUT AGAIN" read the list above and #4 below and compare that to all Professional boxers in history. And that's why he himself always wins in every bout "MAYBE".
    4. Chances for Floyd Mayweather to win every bout.
ANSWER: a.) Corrupt Judges or Referee ( "NO EVIDENCE" but might BE POSSIBLE ) of course if you have lots of Millions any Judges can't resist that offer. 1 Million Dollar it's just a 100 Dollar Bill equivalent for Mayweather and that makes it more "very suspicious and interesting" that he "never ever box in his whole career outside Las Vegas or to fight to other country compare to everyone.
b.) Using his Super Defensive style by hugging, locking elbows, and running to avoid opponent punches.
    CONCLUSION:
If Mayweather had just followed or like other boxers normally do for being fair, no illegal tactics in the ring, no "possible" pay-outs for judges or referee, not fear to fight any other country, not retiring during prime, not choosing of opponents, not using of illegal drugs, and not ducking of opponent.
No Boxing Fans would have doubted his career and he might be considered close to Ali's Legacy.
Only one thing that I really like about Floyd Mayweather is for being the GREATEST DEFENSIVE FIGHTER OF ALL ( no question at all )
JUST MY OPINION AND OBSERVATION ( I'M NO EXPERT )

Is that your personal take on Black folks that don't agree Floyd isn't on Pac Level, hmm really! What Level is Pac on that Floyd was looking Manny Pacquiaos back.
Floyd from all the years I've watch both these fighters Floyd has always been ahead of Manny and still is, one still fights because its is said he loves it, the other is retired let's not down play the fact floyd Mayweather is undefeated never been knocked down, glove has touched floor but not his back and he's never been knocked out that alone counts for everything.
Here's my understanding, we were blessed two have both these fighters at the same time watching both fight, both using two different styles of fighting, we have two hall of Famer's yet one still fighting that doesn't make one greater then the other.
Now we have Errol Spence jr. and Terrance Crawford with jaron Ennis on there heels, they better fight him now, while they can cause this young fighter is a Big Floyd Mayweather in fighting style.
Jaron Ennis might have to jump up to 154 or 160 soon he's to Big for welterweight.

@@truthalwaysprevail2738 I think it's insecurity due to the fact that black dominance in boxing has been proven to be simply a matter of their overrepresentation in the sport during the golden era (40s to 90s), and not due to any physical superiority. Because now that boxing is a truly global sport (literally in the last 15 years), you look at the p4p and it's all races, and there aren't really many top black fighters in boxing anymore since Floyd. Wider (beaten), Joshua (beaten), Haney (almost finished by Linares), Charlo's are meh. So its just Crawford, Tank, Spence, and Shakur (if he stops getting into fights at the gas station)

Manny is in the sport for the love of it and brings entertainment,, self expression all which made him a serviceman. Manny has integrity and bases his actions on values and correct principles.. Floyd does it for the fear of it by just basing himself on money, and being famous. Pac-Man has brought more action and he started as a 100 pounder successfully climbing the ranks and became the people’s champ with an enormous following. When Floyd transitioned from Pretty boy to Money Mayweather he made it about the money and lost the passion. Floyd in my opinion is just business and money driven and that’s poor qualities. This is just some of the reasons I state what I’ve stated about Pac-Man being greater. Is what you do with your success that defines your true intentions of the sport.

Let me simplify. When Floyd was 19 years old he debut at 130. When Pac was 19 yrs old he was at flyweight (106).
    .
Floyd is naturally bigger than Pacquiao. ITs not debatable. . . Its FACTS.
    .
WHen Pac decided to go to 147 (vs Cotto), did he ever fought a 140 or 135 fighters again?
    .
Floyd turned 147 in 2006 but in 2009 he decided to fight a new lightweight Marquez who just moved up from 130 recently at that time. . .Pac would never do that.
    .
The Pattern is clear. Pac fought the tougher opposition.
    .
Being a lightweight fighting at welterweight is a lot harder, than being a natural welterweight fighting at welterweight.

The body adjusts to your weight after years so if you push your body up more it will naturally want you stay at that weight. If Manny were to keep his regiment and macro his diet to fit his "natural" 104 weight his body would retain more fat to keep him at his current weight which means his natural weight isn't 104 anymore. Thats just where he started at his debut. Your bmi will tell you your natural weight his bmi would be like 16 which is under weight at 104 at 5'6 146lbs is about average. He was just cutting weight and was able to cut weight to 104 easier probably because he is shorter by 2 inches which is about 10 12lbs of fluctuating weight difference. But still natural standing they both are within the same bmi ratio maybe a 1.2 difference thats a marginal difference. Max literally has never taken a health or fitness class and knows nothing about weight versus height ratio. So p4p floyd and pac are with the same natural bmi weight. Like factual mathematics.
