I buzzed my hair off about 10 years ago and also got similar backlash on a smaller scale. Crazy how people think they can treat you like garbage over something so trivial. Im sorry that you have to constantly be questioned whether you are ok...especially after you have repeatedly said that you are good. I think that SO many people after Covid have had mental break downs and think that everyone else could be having the same break down too. We all have had break downs since the beginning of time but I think people are just paying more attn to the symptoms now bcz of everything that the world had been thru in last couple of years. And OMG...I keep telling my sister to shave her hair off too bcz she doesnt wear her hair at all but she says she is too attached to her own hair in a way that I guess I wont understand. In the contrary, the sad truth is that, it may not necessarily be that one doesn't mean well but more so that they dont know what well actually is. "Their well" may not be "your well" and in that is where good intentions can get confused. Having said that, there ARE truly those that dont mean you well (for whatever their selfish reasons). I think what's critical in showing concern for someone is also to harvest discernment in doing so (should those involved be "close enough" to apply it CORRECTLY)....

That's because there are way too many gullible people out there. Her relatively new management hasn't really invested enough time in trying to understand the kind of person she is, and that's just adding to her frustration.
