I love that she talked about quitting nicotine and how cool it is to come out the other side knowing you can quit and change your brain. I quit weed earlier this year and it was so fucking hard. In a way I can see how she dove into the demon representation in her latest album. Bc going against your addictions is like battling an inner demon. Love her art and form of expression.

I got hypnotized because every time I’d go on the stage to sing, the back of my head would hurt, so I got hypnotized and it worked and my head doesn’t hurt when I go on stage to sing anymore. Also, the cigarette thingy….I actually used to do that (tell myself I don’t smoke any more) I used to do it just like you said you did it. I would even say it before I even stopped smoking while I had a cigarette still in my hand…. I’d be chanting…I DON’T SMOKE ANYMORE… lol… but I did eventually stop smoking too.
