The egregore is considered a hidden word. It’s originated from the Greek word "egrêgorein" which means to watch over. The term can be described as an energetic vortex generated by the sum of the mental and emotional of a group, which you will get into it and somehow your subconscious is gradually adhering to the information of this vortex. You will behave like the people who are inside, occurring an effect of energetic resonance. Moreover, egregore can be defined as a set of concentrated energies when several individuals have the same goal. Facilitating the collapse of this energy wave / goal, increasing the likelihood of goal manifestation.
This egregore is governed by the time of existence and the number of adherents. The longer it is in existence, the more difficult it will be for this egregore to fall apart. Let's take religions as an example, they have a very long time of existence and those who oppose them will be repelled by the energy vortex.
Everything is system within system. Example: An individual "X" has its own egregore which is the result of other egregores. Considering he lives alone and doesn't share his car. This individual's car will have an egregore which will be his extension. If the car and home are cleaned, organized, and during the period that he is in the car or at home, positive thoughts are injected, the house and car will have a wonderful egregor. The reason you are inside an egregore is because of the information that is contained in your electromagnetic field. Information is energy. Energies are composed of atoms. Atoms are vibrating and attracting similar information / situations. People who are dissatisfied with the professional egregore, the family egregore, the body egregore, the egregore where they live, do not understand that they attract what they think.

Trying to figure out how an Egregore fits in here, though. I was under the impression that Egregores require a lot of intent and energy to create, let alone maintain, so not something that could be one's own personal demons.
[When I first learned about egregores, it was pointed out that Santa Clause is one of the major modern egregores.]
