Lucky recipient of this pretty n pink sweetie! I really enjoy seeing how you construct your fabric, lace, stitched covers! It's definately your signature style, Heidi! Thank you so much for sharing and explaining all your your beautiful work!😊 Fantastic job!
Very sweet, very pretty. The cover is lovely, sort of a random ruching that’s really superb. I 💕how you strung that necklace across the spine and covers with bulb pins. Very, very clever. Everything is clever. You are very good at layering throughout your books. At one point you called a length of ribbons, crochet, et al a “ mishmash.” I really like the idea of a mishmash of pretty things. Great job! Thank you!
Soooo beautiful!!! I'm not usually a pink/lacy person, but I have a 'secret' soft spot none-the-less - and this Journal, with it's added bundles, is just... well, it's gorgeous. 💗
Heidi, this is gorgeous! I love everything. I especially like the way you covered the gaps with the doilies. Brilliant! Those gaps always bother me. I also like the way you cover stitching. Great idea! You are SO creative. ❤ Shirley
Beautiful journal, Heidi ❤ I would love to see how you make the lovely lace ruffles for the edge of the pages. They are so gorgeous! Hugs from Michigan, USA!!
Dear Heidi, Oh my jour journals are incredibly beautiful. I know you do not do tutorials, but can you please explain how you go about and compile your fabric cluster strips? Also, you put it at the edge of a page, so I assume your paper is above 120gsm to prevent it from bending under the weight of the cluster? And how or with what glue do you attach it to the page as I prefer to stich mine to the page. I am absolutely in love with your fabric clusters and the detail you put into it. Wow, you are an incredible artist.
Thank you so much. For my clusters I just sit with a box of lace, crochet and sari bits and just play with placement till I like it then pin it and then I hand sew them, I think it gives me more control where I want bits than with a machine 👍 I will then add beads and use extra wee stitches to tuck any bits sticking out I don’t like. I do attach them to either card or thicker paper pages like watercolour paper and then I use the beacon fabri-tac glue, you need so little of it to stick well so it won’t bleed through or go hard like some glues. I hope that helps 😊
Absolutely gorgeous, just like all your journals. So many pretty elements and the colour coordination is lovely. You've been missed! Also, can you tell me the name of the die you used a couple of times, including on the front, to make that frame. Would appreciate it.

Thank you so much, I do the ruffles by hand, I find hand sewing easier to do the layers, I just sit with a box of lace bits and play with placement 👍
Thank you. So, you hand stitch them together and then glue them to the edge of the page. .?
Beautiful journal!
