From the start of this interview they immediately started throwing shade at Lakeith, so he decided to just troll them for the rest of the interview. Charlemagne expressed how he shouldn’t have gotten the role of snoop, he called his skin rough, he said he looked old for his age and that he needed to drink more water. Angela brought up his prison record which was completely irrelevant to the conversation. But Lakeith was supposed to sit there and continue to be graceful to them during this interview?? Lmao FOH!

I agree with everyone here when they say that he maybe a genius. I think the interview was awkward. Got the vibe that Keith at some points was getting slightly annoyed with their constant one track minded statements and questions regarding his life and career when indeed he has done a lot he has been around for a while and probably has more credentials and without a doubt talent then they know or find hard to believe because of his appearance and choice of words. Angela like always is a Google dependent and swears she knows it all, always beating someone to the punch... let him fucking finish a sentence… Charlemagne is uncomfortable because for the first time someone in the room is actually more smarter than him and at times it seems like he was clowning on him for no reason but his own insecurities but I do think he does respect Keith … As his character on Atlanta. As for DJ envy I think he was genuinely interested in this dude but he's isn't the brightest bulb in the tool shed so his questions were basic.

1 Lakeith is going to be a big deal. He had the it factor
2 He started getting annoyed around the 12 minutes mark
3 The breakfast club does really well with rapper interviews. That 21 Savage interview was lowkey brilliant. They managed to engage 21 and create a story line that was intriguing. They made 21 relatable. But it seems as if interviewing actors is outside their range.

i don't think he's aloof, i've been called aloof, i can see how people think of that word for this specific personality but aloof means to be unfriendly and distant but he's very open and always engaged with his conversations even if they're trolling him. ugh i love this man i resonate with him a lot.

Right. As if to refute TBC's immature dismissal of him by auditioning for casting directors on their show, right in front of their faces. His track record in a short period of time speaks for itself - he's on a great trajectory. But TBC only acknowledges people who are already mainstream successes or those who are likely to resonate with the common urban populace (such as Black Youngsta).
What you are seeing from Charlamagne here is pure jealousy (Envy and Yee just follow his lead, as usual). Trust and believe that Charlamagne is a highly intelligent culturalist who is taking his shot at the American dream through the trolling/negative character he plays on radio. His enterprising activities on TV, in podcasts and with books are not a coincidence. LaKeith is getting there faster without selling poison in the form of opinion. If Charlamagne could do it LaKeith's way (actually act) instead of playing the jester he would. Hence the hostility.
