I like Donald's ideas of writing the show from boths points of view, he is so smart.
I hope I don't sound like those "well actually" guy but the writing was mostly done by his brother Stephen Glover and I hope he gets the credit he deserves

If you are going to reinvent a show, why not change the name and own it? These two actors are fabulous, but the script made no sense.
How so? And it wasn’t reinvented. The core premise is the same. But different couple. also why didn’t the movie change its name since it was actually a remake of an old show. I think in reality…your comment makes no sense.
@@515JUKE I wrote a very original story, almost a script. I am not a copy cat.(and its not even my profession) Why would you agree to participate in a project when you know in advance the audience will be disappointed and compare you to the original cast/casts?
And again the original Mr and Mrs smith was a tv show? It’s always been a concept and idea. Romeo and Juliet, Pinocchio are in similar boats.

@@515JUKE yes, I watched till the end. They give each other a truth serum and right after that she lies to him. (when he is shot) I think that if the writers were not bound to the original story, they would have possibly written a story that made sense.

That "twist" in the first episode got me hooked. I expected something, but not exactly that... and the juxtaposition of the event with the previous events? *chef's kiss* I had to keep watching.
