This is byfar one of the best interviews I've seen conducted by you guys, I'm impressed. I can't believe that I watched the whole 3 hours of it without feeling like it was well worth it. I've learned a lot from Jaz O. I think that I can really vibe out with bro. I'm a knowledge seeker and an omni-artist just like him. It was dope to see a side of him that he had never expressed publicly. 🙏🏾💪🏾

This interview made me sad. I knew what had happened already because we could all see that Jaz felt he should have been treated differently by Jay and Rocafella. I think if there was more communication things could have been better. It's all a lesson in pride, ego, and humility. I wish they had asked him how he felt about Jay Z's hall of fame speech.

jaz--o never disrespected jayz, he just felt upset because they gave him a terrible deal. this was in the 90s when jayz/dame were in their 20s. jaz-o was older. so the mindset between a kid and a grown man are two different things. jaz-o expected some loyalty for putting jay-z on in the first place, taking him on his first airplane ever when he took him to london..jay-z felt like that was the past and he had a chip on his shoulder cuz he felt like he did it on his own. u can call it ego. but both of them worked it out. neither one of them were wrong if you ask me
Jaz-O has a lot of self awareness. Despite the many feelings he had about a situation, he still forged ahead. We're human and sometimes the ego starts talking but you can't listen to it. lol Great interview.
So many friendships/brotherhoods are destroyed and never recover from this type of miscommunication. I'm glad they didn't let ego get the best of their beautiful beginning!
Thanks for creating the environment that allows this to happen…that’s what ppl miss wit these interviews…this the best Jaz interview in the atmosphere because it’s not vindictive or a rebuttal, it’s seems honest and retrospective…we all can respect a man’s truth when it’s based on logic and reflection and not egotism

Jazo may it a side by side with Jay ..but Jay made it seem as a after thought with Jazo. Not even given opportunity the same way. Suggestions and all . Jay tell someone else to call not reach out himself..because of the relationship assumed that he had with each other
