I loved the way they animated her dancing, especially when they made her clothes look like fire in the second performance to go with her passion/hatred. All the shorts are so well executed, but this one is my favorite.

This one was honestly my favourite! The animation was stunning, the music was beautiful and I just loooove the story. It reminded me a lot of Andor and seeing another side of the empire we usually don't see
This episode has such a beautiful story and beautiful animation to go with it
I enjoy this episode, personally. Because of other Star Wars Fans, I actually learned a new word: “Heterochromia”, which is referring to the mismatching eyes of the characters. One eye being blue and the other eye being yellow.
Definitely watch the extras for this episode, you will learn a lot about French history and culture
I really like the animation style and the story was probably my favourite out of all the episodes in Volume 2 :)
While the last episode was my favourite, the Spy Dancer has to be my second favourite. Along with the mesmerising visuals and the amazing plot twist it encapsulates Star Wars in a different way Journey to the Dark Head did, while the previous one focused on the conflict of the Light and Dark side, this episode focused on the conflict of the Empire and the Rebellion, two different battles both key to the Star Wars universe
I LOVED this one. The direct frame lift from The Matrix where Neo catches Morpheus made me nerd out so hard. I opened that scene and synced them. It's the same exact shot just flipped 180 degrees. That was awesome.
I LOVED this episode, it's easily my favorite, the art style was very unique and it was such a proper Star Wars story of the Empire turning people against their own race and enlisting the youth and indoctrinating them. I tear up watching every reaction to this episode, when she gives him a hug and says they took everything when they took him away, ughhhhh.

I wonder if he removes it / hides it himself or if the empire removed his horns and eyes as a child so he doesn't even realize
because empire was pretty racist to non-humans
im pretty sure the latter otherwise he would've had the memory of losing them and probably not liked the empire for that
@Kunstable I agree that the empire took away his horns and one eye making him more human looking so he wouldn't start searching for his origin.
My second favorite of season 2 behind black head, the whole season is great
Wish they released this in original French dub as well like the Korean-made "Journey to the Dark Head." This is by far one of my favorites along with the Korean one. The Korean anime one rivals Japanese animation from Volume 1.
