Dover Traditional Traction Elevators at John Walker MEOB, TMAU in College Station, TX.

Video Recorded on December 15, 2021: This is the John Walker Mechanical Engineering Office Building at Texas A&M University. As you can see, they have redone the elevator hallway lobby on the main floor since I last visited. Anyone still remembers both the sad face and happy face elevator cars from before? Notice the permanent ink written on the lantern plates in the basement...lol! I have finally gotten a much better take on these elevators here. I don't understand why the exterior bell on the smiley face elevator did not ring in the basement the second time I took a round trip. Calling the smiley face elevator from the basement was A REAL PAIN!!!! The sad face elevator kept on arriving numerous times in every try resulting me to call it from another floor upstairs. Installed in 1984.
