Good wheel
Since all batteries will eventually fail is it Guaranteed that with the battery configuration of the master you are going to fall due to battery failure? As opposed to something like the Sherman that can operate on one Battery?
YESSSS!!!!!!! I was dying to hear someone do the Begode review to Master by Metallica!🤘🤘🤘 You are now my favorite
No redundancy on a wheel that can go this fast and hard is not very reassuring. I went from instant pre order to I'm thinking and waiting now.
Riding a 128V system with a challenged BMS would be worse imo.
It is one thing to demand anti-fire hazard precautions but another to complain about it, when you get it
Safety warning or at least something to think about:
Begode master has all packs wired up in series.
Which means if 1 pack fails you will have a cut off.
Even if 1 cell in a pack fails it could cause a cut off.
S20/22 have 2 packs in parallel
Inmotion V11 & V12 have 2 packs in parallel
If 1 pack fails the other is still active to balance the wheel.
Yes sir. It’s addressed in the vid too ;)
Here is a video showing the wiring of the Master:

@@mr_wrongway ❤️
@@theeucguy you like that video 💪
If you have Inmotion wheel most likely your mosfet will fail and you will go faceplant anyway :D. Mosfets has no redundancy...
Well deserved 50k subs, great job! Because of you I got into EUCs 6 months ago and am now riding miles daily and its the best thing I have ever discovered. I met an expanding group of riders in my town who do group rides every week. I use my V11 to get around my college campus and many people who have asked me about it have bought there own. All this thanks you and your videos leading me into it! After watching this video, I am still not sure if I want to replace my V11 with a master. The larger wheel and higher top speed are the main reasons for wanting to switch, but InMotion's build quality is top notch. Just the headlight comparison gives a good idea of how much InMotion puts into their products.
I'd just gotten to the point where I trusted Begode enough to order one of their wheels. I had a fully paid S22 on order that I cancelled and swapped to a Master because it performed so much better. Begode has done so many things right with this wheel but no battery redundancy on a 55 mph wheel is a huge flaw. It looks like the've improved fire safety at the expense of unexpected cutouts. I guess time will tell how often this happens but it doesn't feel like the safety of EUCs is moving forward.
And thanks Adam. Excellent video as always.
I think that begode did the right thing here. The quality improved massively compared to the old plastic begode wheels like the RS.
They just didn't think it through entirely and swapped the risk of fire hazards with another one.
Honestly, fully geared up, I'd rather have a low amp system that potentially cuts out when pushed to hard than a wheel that might malfunction and set my home on fire.
Addendum: I'd have prefered a split system with 2x2 battery packs @33V, so if one pack fails you at least get 50% of the power to geton with your life.
Begode performs better at fires too, good for you 🤣
I agree, however for a 55mph wheel (especially at this price point) I feel like it should have every feature as standard. Battery redundancy, high quality BMS with temp sensor, tiltback warning before cutout, etc. I really hope it isnt just a raw speed wheel with little to no regard for safety.
@@CaptainCandycorn I'm afraid that I is.... knowing begode. Lets cross fingers
grats on that many subs! its mainly thanks to you i bought my very first euc a few days ago :D since you always return to and compare every wheel to the sherman, i got a sherman max ;D i was up and running the very first day! i love learning to ride
Adam the best! I like his detailed and thorough reviews, with an emphasis on safety.
Series = no redundancy. 1 pack goes, you faceplant
Many wheels has only 1 battery pack - no redundancy, please complain also in V8S review :).
@@TheDownloader86 V8s isn't a performance wheel.
@@BunnyslippersEUC yeah it is 35km/h wheel which people are ussually riding in very basic gear around the city. Do you think that failure in this case is fine? :D
@@TheDownloader86 I went flying at 30 km/h with no gear on electricskateboard. I was ok. No broken wrists.
Elderly people go 35 km/h on electric bicycle with no gear.
@@BunnyslippersEUC bicycle is different machine, motor failure means no fatal crash. And still a lot of people died every year riding a bicycle, Elderly included ;)
Congrats on the 50k subscribers Adam! MetalGode!!!
The Master is a pretty exciting wheel, not just for Begode but for the landscape of EUCs. A real next gen wheel. A lot of the footage and impressions so far of folks that have it have been very positive. Finally a wheel that can give you high speed (relative to current 100v EUC High speeds) but also that crazy torque power. Combined with suspension, and it seems like you can run over anything in this wheel. Next level superpower. Looking forward to your full review!
its still early to tell, the KS S20 initial month reviews and impressions where all positive too until that fire happened, one gnarly cutout or fire and this wheel will see the same fate.
don't get me wrong I'm impressed with what im seeing with the master too but its still early to judge.
I think, as a community, we should stop hyping each and every wheel and observe and judge the 2nd and 3rd gen production wheels. It clearly shows this is NOT a finished product, but an improved prototype.
I like the improvements and direction, but it is still a very undecisive wheel. As if the Begode Master and EX20s were made to improve their major flaw - quality and battery safety.
Yup, no problem with waiting for later production models. These are still EUCs after all, and by nature, no company is 100% reliable. Still, based on what I've seen and impressions from riders I trust, so far the Master seems to be delivering on the things the S22 failed to deliver, including not catching on fire.
i was already falling in love with EUC's. the fact that you just mixed it with master of puppets....made my world. u da man. DA MAN
Nice work! Very cool to start seeing these wheels pop up in the wild. Very interesting (and completely unmarked) batteries. Hopefully they pack the punch we were all hoping for from the S22, minus the flame throwing action. Good call keeping the FireSak around.
J’avais oublié une chose très importante, c’est grâce à toi qu’aujourd’hui je suis sur une roue ( pas facile pour débuter une Z10 ) alors je te remercie pour tous tes conseils et ta bonne humeur, un salut de France
Congrats on 50k subs, the wheel looks good. Stripped down and futuristic. The batteries in series is kinda sketch due to possible cutouts. Suspension looks good as well. I'm waiting on a RSHS from Ewheels as we speak, just love keeping up with the community and the newest tech.
Good to see Begode finally addressing some of the safety issues.
Looking forward to your tear down. Been resisting stocking of selling Begode because of safety worries, but if they have got their act together it would be great. All batteries in series seems sketchy though.
The teardown of EUC Upgrades was quite thorough. Maybe this interests you.
Congratulations on 50K subs! Keep up the great work!
Your channel is a great resource for valuable information and you are a treasure! Continued success to you.
Congrats on 50k! Remember discovering your channel with your kaboo mantis review 😁😁
Another fine unboxing and comparison of wheels. Thanks for the info.
Congrats! on 50K you deserve it! Keep up the fantastic content!
Hype!
Im hyped to you test MAX compare to vanila one for heavy ppl and incline testing MASTER.
First and foremost.. I hope i have this correct.... Świetna robota na 50 tys. łodzi podwodnych i dumny z tego, co osiągnąłeś ... congrats of your 50k subs! Way to go!!!... Begode-allica - Master of explosions 😁.. Looks relatively ok to the eye. not too keen on that exposed battery layout there.. not much side protection or anything (maybe the reason for all that included foam pads lol) . That kick stand is pathetic lol.. love the rubberised top cover.. thats good thinking and design. really nice clear display.. bizzare it's only a 2 segment speed given the voltage. .. Lots to visually like at first glance.. but lots of begode-isms also.. look forward to the teardown Adam! Thanks for sharing
Great video and fantastic looking wheel. Congrats on the subs. A testament to your consistency 👏. Looking forward to the full review..
Thanks U Stride :)

Thank you for another great video! (Loved the guitar part! :-))
With all the mixed feelings about Begode, it’s hard to not acknowledge how cool it looks even in comparison with S20!
Ciekawe jak to cacko zapiernicza 😍 cant wait for the review 🤩
Congratulations Adam!!!
Would be nice to tighten the suspension bolts :). Wheel looks awesome to me, much better than S20 (S22) in terms of desing and of course power will be another level :).
I heard from my supplier said that begode will be release a new mainboard for their next production batch around mid May 2022. I wish it will be the batteries configuration/parallels
circuit so it will have redundancy for more secure ride
I stronly believe the Inmotion V13 will be better and safer - also we will prob. have it very soon: Xmas 2033.
Essentially the thought process of the majority of EUC riders summed up.
Let's just wait for another unreleased wheel to get hyped and up one's expectations. One day we will have a perfect EUC, maybe even before jetpacks are a common occurence..
@@privileguan9127 how about the returning of Christ? Will we have fireproof and waterproof EUCs then?
The V14 is where it's at honestly, the best EUC never made
It's a great looking wheel with the performance to back it up...!!!😍
Superb review and setup... mine will be here soon :)
Congratulations on 50k!
Thanks!
Congrats on your 50k brother. If you could open those 33V 600Wh pack and take a look at the sub packs / redundancies within the pack as well as the BMS, it would be amazing. EUC upgrades started some real FEUD online with his revue when it appear that those packs are indeed way safer than the 100V 900 wh packs
I’ll see what I can do :)
@JM Coulon unfortunately, FEUD is a real problem and detrimental in the community
Great wheel... just not that silly off-road tyre that will turn badly on Tarmac. I hope they have a good sensible grippy road tyre alternative.
Hey Adam, your videos have got me into euc's currently s18, I have a preorder for the s20 but I like the design and balance of the master, test rode the demo s20 in australia, was not impressed, I am a light rider and had to stand on toes to get it moving. In this unboxing of the master you mentioned safety Do you have any thoughts of the safety of the s20 given the fire in NY?
@Wrong Way
The plastic handle shouldn't be used to lift the wheel. Not sturdy enough. EUC Upgrades did a nice teardown and mentioned this after, well, breaking it.
The problem is the wheel SHOULD be picked up by the handle if that's where it makes sense and works. If it doesn't cuz it's plastic, make it metal. But Begode is apathetic to known problems with their wheels
True, but there isn't a single wheel without issues so far. Something like a higher quality metal handle could easily be fixed.
As long as we have companies that focus on short term success and engineers that don't know which screws to use on which materials.. well...
Could you check the waterproofing of the wheel and bearings when you do your teardown? That's one of the key questions for me about the Master.
It looks that the battery connector has no shrinkwrap or back cover, so any metallic part can short the backside, that looks bad.
Just sold my motorcycle and can’t wait for the teardown of Maste. I was about to buy Sherman but i think i need something more comfortable.
You are the best for doing a Master of Puppets reference
Hi Adam, you obviously have to ride that right away.
no spark w/o batteries? 😂
Would you please, in the full review, in the ergonomics section, add the following: how easy is to wheel/push the Master up stairs using its trolley handle (without lifting the wheel from the ground)? I live in a house with no elevator in it, and also there are a lot of stairs in the city, so seems it could be of use for many, thanks.
The handle shouldn't be used to lift the wheel. Maybe try riding up the stairs? But other than that, I'd just improve the handle with a metal replacement and metal screws.
@@privileguan9127 In no way I mean to lift it, I mean to push the wheel and roll it up stairs. However, making the handle whole metal is anyway a good improvement.
I tried the master and the S20, and i got the impression that it was much easier/nicer to carve on the S20.
Do you have the same impression?
Is it beacause of the tire or the wheel?
There will never be a wheel that comes out that’s perfect but yeah minus that battery pack voltage situation that could be concerning, maybe that’s not really a issue when the wheel cuts out
Also the balance on the S-22 was moved so it doesn’t fall over to the back when it’s turned off…. Haha those both wheels are always compared, I guess that isn’t another wheel over 100 Volts with suspension
I love both wheels. I’d be glad to have either one of them but I bought the S-22 for the suspension travel in case you fall off a cliff or hit a massive jump, hit a stump, etc etc etc you can’t sub that out with anything better in my opinion
I think, that it can able to buy additional battery packs for this Master in the future and connect packs in parallel with existing ones to have a longest range as you wish, at the same time S22 doesn't have these ables, in my opinion, or it has to add batteries over batterycase and have some issues with fasteners. I think that Master has more opportunities to upgrade than S22.
Also want ask how reliable is the trolleyhandle if needs to lift or move up/downstairs several floors? And how this wheel waterproof? Especially motor and elecrtonics.
Thanks
Hey I was wondering, as of so far, which EUC do you personally consider the best overall? In terms of speed, range, waterproofing, manœuvrbility, etc. I know it's a hard decision overall because of the small/big problems that come with each EUC but it doesn't matter.
I keep my sherman since almost two years :) it’s been rather great :)
If I already have a 10 amp charger with a different connector, can I use an adapter?
Yes bring the Gotway vids back !
Perfect intro, well done kumpel 👍
At 19:57 I see there is something attached longitudinally underneath the pedals, right in the middle. What is it? 🤔
That intro made me think Adam’s finally lost it. 😂🤣
I snapped into my deepest desires 😂

DOPE ASS BEGINNING!!
Wow, Begode, wach for fire 😂😂😂
No hero fires so far. Hope it stays that way. Begode is slowly getting their reputation back
@@dumbcrumb879 Good to see that they offer different cell options with better BMS.
But the series wiring is making me worry again.
@@dumbcrumb879 it is Master, not hero
@EUC Serbia I was saying hero because the master isnt out for official release yet
…Unlike the KS S20….🤫😳
Finally we can get a proper review 🙌
Nice initial review
Does this worth it, or is it recommended to wait for Begode 's next EUC?
Nice video!
Congratulations for reaching 50K subscribers!✌
So, except of the battery, at first view Master is better than S22 almost on every aspect :) But for me, because of the battery, S22 looks more safe than Master. Too bad that Begode chose the solution to connect the batteries in series... If one pack fail you are down :(
Can you do a S22 vs Master video even if the S22 is a beta/demo wheel?
To be fair, the battery shouldn't fail while riding. But being in the middle of nowhere after a crash and not being able to ride back, because of one battery pack failing, sure leaves a bad taste.
I guess after all their battery issues and the constant need to push for even more voltage.. this is the reasonable way to go...
Congratulations!!
Congrats on 50K subs!
Thanks Jimmy!!!
Congrats on 60k !!!
Hi Adam, where can I get the Firesack?
Happy 50K 🥳👍😜😂
This is my new favourite video
Whoo!!!
I'm considering a 3rd gen Master; any feedback?
newer ever plug charger when not connected to the outlet
Now THAT’S an intro!!
Absolutely amazing unboxing. These videos go a very long way for “US” the consumer’s. Thank you.
I see a bright future in your acting career 😂 you should change the Wrong Way intro and make the voiceover/music a little more metal!
Btw I asked my reseller (myewheel) before ordering my Master with LiTech 40T if there is any difference other than assembly and they said no there's no difference other than assembly, so I don't expect any fancy sensors or smart bms or anything like that, I think that was exclusive to ewheels, unless you heard otherwise?
Edit: Caution I watched far enough that you said the trolley handle doubles as a lift handle, people already broke it from lifting the wheel with it so it will not hold for lifting, the plastic is too thin (source: a Master owner posted this info with an image of broken/cracked handle on Telegram), I also heard rumors of more people having had the same thing happen, so be careful until we know more about that.
Congrats for the rest of the 49999 subscribers! (I don't count myself, you can't get rid of me anyhow! :P)
Adam, when you plug in the charger to the wheel at 11:00 and got no spark because the batteries were not install yet. Do the same test with batteries install and charger plug in and see what happens.
That's the magic of editing Lol look 12 secondes later...
The master does not spark when you connect the charger
I've seen a few people riding something like this before. I just don't understand... how do you CONTROL a unicycle at high speed? It's like a hoverboard on steroids!
No bluetooth speakers...but is there bluetooth for connecting to apps like Wheellog or similar wheel apps?
Yes
Can't wait to ride it!
I'm looking around at EUCs to eventually purchase and I don't see the point in having BT speakers included. Idk the quality of these speakers, but to me it just adds unnecessary hardware and weight regardless if they're good or bad. I'd rather have an external speaker or a BT helmet system.
Agreed. Not sure why this is still a thing on some 2000+€/$ wheels.
There are bt speakers for less than 20€ that sound as good and fit in your pocket.
I'd even pay 20€ more to NOT have this crap built into the wheel...
Yup, i've never used the ones on my RS while riding. If you really must blast your music to everyone around you while riding then there are plenty of cheap clip on bt speakers that have a lot better sound quality.
WTF! BEST INTRO EVER
Not happy about battery waterproofing / safety. PLASTIC packs directly exposed!? Also, the battery leads are externally exposed and not waterproofed - seems like a huge flaw regardless of the cell inside. Also - charge ports on the master ARE active at all times. The charger is just smarter.
Hope you can test the Inmotion V12 HT soon :)!
I hope so too
I like your videos, wish I could try to ride single wheeled scooter too
21:29 Is that smoke coming from the wheel during the freespin?...
Good observation. Might be dust probably? At least I hope so...

Will you also get the Ex2s? With 3600 wh and suspension it sounds like a pretty nice wheel.
Yes it’s on the way
The EX20s looks like the prototype for the master.
If I could have the master with the battery pack of the EX20s, I'd be satisfied, I guess. Maybe.
@JM Coulon
Sadly, I'm as much experienced with electronics as a penguin is with flying.
Maybe, just maybe, I could mod it myself, but due to guarantee/liability concerns I wouldn't do it.
I was looking forward to S20 and I thought the Master is a fast copycat. Some choices looks similar. But now I am quite disappointed by S20 and the Master looks quite good from mechanical / design standpoint. I didnt really like the electronics and its absent sealing but will see in disassembly. I am not a big fan of begode but maybe they made some good euc
The sealing, as far as I can tell, is actually quite good. Far from perfect, but easily improveable with a few strips and silicon.
Can really recommend watching the EUC Upgrades teardown as a first teaser.

while getting a high performance wheel with suspension may seem like the best plan - I recommend either KS 18XL or KS 16X for first wheel. Durable, fun, proven, less moving parts to break, and I'd take an educated guess easier to learn on. I've had my 18XL for over 2 years, and have faster wheels, but I always try to ride the KS, because of how much fun it is to ride! (edit) almost forgot too - starting on a traditional/non suspension wheel also forced you to learn to use your legs for suspension, naturally - this is a very, very good thing (imo) to develop. These habits translate to riding suspension wheels later, but I'm not sure the reverse is true
