Mindy has to be one of my favourite mums of your sims. She tries her best to be a good mum and when she realises that her tactics to keep holly safe wasn’t working, she accepts that she needs to be supportive at the same time.

not trying to be rude, so my apologies if i do come off as that, but you are right, but also sorta wrong. makeup isnt just about having fun with colors. some people do wear it to hide insecurities. not everyone wants to explore colors and only use neutrals.
so i would have worded it "wearing makeup is not JUST about hiding insecurities" and "it's ALSO about having fun with colors" because theres nothing wrong with also hiding insecurities when i feel the need to.
i wore makeup to hide red blotches that would randomly appear on my face. never to play with colors lol

Animatizando I full agree with you. However, now days people heavily rely on makeup to cover up their imperfections. Just like the Dont Judge me Challenge - A challenge that was designed to tell tell people they imperfections is okay . Instead bunch people put pimples, glasses and other aspects and classified them ugly than implied that wearing makeup make you look perfect . Thing is that people don’t use makeup as fun no more . I been here for 22 years . How makeup change since I grew up until now it’s sad. It’s okay wear makeup . Everyone their preference but when people think makeup makes the person that where morals have left the door.

I really liked this story, it was different! In my personal opinion it has a lot to do with why someone is doing it, are they doing it as a reaction to the oppression they had to suffer because of their family, are they doing it because that’s just what they like? And with makeup specifically is someone overdoing it because of low self confidence and because they think this is what’s going to fix their internal problems ? If the case is something like that then I get the mother’s reaction even though that’s not the way to do it... otherwise you can’t be mad at someone for having horrible taste.

I cried when the story of her mom came
I will forever teach my stepdaughter to be clever and kind, that she is beautiful inside and out and when the day comes that she is beautiful inside and out with however she decides to present herself.
This story is one of the best. Already as a child she is asked why she doesn't wear makeup, and they are only children. At that age there is much more. I don't say it's wrong to wear makeup, but at such a young age. One of the girls also said: and it's sad to see that the external aspect is more important than the internal one. Maybe the mother was a little too obsessive when her daughter grew up, but she said a beautiful and real phrase:There's so much more than looks. When the girls told that Mindy was ugly and she smiled, the other girl asked: Why aren't you getting upset? And Mindy responded: Because you're ugly inside, Wow. But I think I understood why the mother doesn't wanted that her daughter wears makeup, she just didn't want that her daughter become like the others, "obsessed with makeup". Amazing❤️👏

It’s funny because I’ve never been into makeup. I feel like Holly and her mom are the opposite of me and my sister. Growing up, my sister consistently wanted me to wear makeup, but I just refused. Funny how now, all I use is concealer to hide my acne lol

I agree with the mom. There are more than just looks but there is also nothing wrong with dressing yourself up. As long they remember they are still beautiful just the way they are. Some people just like to flaunt their beauty with makeup. Other does it with clothes. There’s many ways to flaunt your beauty.
