My parents told me that one year all I wanted to do was meet characters, mom said we barely even rode any rides that year. We waited in character lines everyday the WHOLE trip!!!!😂😂
I like to tell people that if they can afford it, do character dining! Especially for the parents who aren't into meeting characters, then they can focus on food and won't need to wait in five different lines to meet the characters they can there. Plus 9 times out of 10 it's a buffet!
I forgot to add that the costume Head has a fan inside, we didn't know how long the battery would last. Long story short, the fan stops working half way through the varsity football game. I got the body part of the costume sweaty, also the clothes I had on underneath.

I'm quite shy, rubbish at making conversation and never know what to say! Do you have any tips about good/favourite questions to ask specific characters, or even what questions/comments to avoid!? Alpha Stoutland you're so welcome! Anna and Elsa meet at am indoor location in Norway, so their wait time is posted just like an attraction's wait time is posted. I believe they meet in epcot all day! check the app and a Times guide to make sure! :)
Ok. You’re gonna think I’m crazy... but... I wanna do the character meet and greets, but masked characters scare me. When we were at Hollywood Studios for my birthday last month and we were walking back towards Star Tours and Chip and Dale were walking through the park high fiving guests and one of them approached me to give me a high five and I was so scared to do it (I mean I did it, but I was hesitant). Then later the storm troopers were out and they were like walking toward me and I like turned and went the other way. I’m such a baby. But I feel like I don’t have the obligatory Mickey and Minnie photo and I want one, but I am too scared to go do it. Do you have tips? I’m also relatively shy and rely on others to break the ice but they don’t talk, so it’s kinda weird. Should I practice with the face characters first?
Briar Rose said a lot of the things I was going to say! There's also getting a mat for a picture frame signed by the characters and then putting a family photo (or whatever photo) in it. Some people get pillow cases signed. I think backpacks are super cute with all the signatures on it! Just nothing too small (ie magic bands - doable but pain in the butt). Some people get the ears of the mickey hats signed, but you'll only be able to get a few signatures on those. And regular sized sharpies are my personal (and a lot of others') favorite to sign in! :)
Hi! We are going to Disney World this summer and last year when we went we missed meet and greets because we did not know what time they were. Where do you find the meet and greet times for characters such as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger?
Ben Collins it depends on what the temperature is! Characters will usually stay out between 20 and 30 minutes and then go check on their cookies baking (well, that's what Minnie usually goes and checks on!) And then be right back out, 5 minutes or so later
Olivia_Simone I wanted to bring this up because I was my high schools mascot during my senior year before graduating. I learned being outside on a hot day, I did have to learn the hard way.
Ever since Elsa was created we say in the winter " who ever upset Elsa go and apologize!"

We love doing Cinderella's Royal Table so we can meet a bunch of princesses and not have to stand in lines to see them.
