Rhino is so used in the spider games that He is becoming an generic boss battle.
I mean... He should be. Hes a large rhino man, no one else in the world is his size, so it makes perfect sense that he gets out all the time and the boss fight is a David V Goliath scenario which emboldens Spider-man's position to protect New York because thats all Rhino cares about destroying. If Rhino was a Hulk villian you wouldnt feel like hes a threat because the Hulk is OP but against a normal sized man with spider powers the Rhino is a threat and Peter/Miles beating him is no feat to brush off. I wouldnt call him Generic but maybe he's the Spider-man villian you need in a Spider-man game to make Spider-man feel as powerful as he is.

It is nice to see because it's kinda rare, also miles is OFTEN just shown off for his black side and quite frequently has his puerto rican side downplayed or pushed away.
As long as it's not shoved down peoples throats, it's not a big deal for people who can't recognize what's being shown around his house and all with it not being heavy handed, but show off for ones who can completely appreciate, as well as those who wish to look at it it if they choose. This was more for his own families personality and values and well done so it was a better experience and enjoyable. Gives a real sense of them as people in a way.

That was hilarious, but I think this time would have been even funnier if Joe went near door, and you just hear smooth landing sound, Joe turns back and seas OJ in perfect landing position, meaning he did some insane acrobatic trick and landed perfectly but if was off screen and he just never does it again.

I actually loved the app idea. I thought it fit with how Miles isn’t a very experienced hero or well-known by the public, so him doing low-scale things first was really endearing. Especially when a big theme of the game was regular people wanting to be seen.

I really liked a lot of the app missions. Some of them are just really quick one shots, but several of them string together into a longer story that has a nice payoff and even involves on the of the classic villains from the last game. Plus they really fit Spider-Man. The app is called "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" for a reason.

it doesnt really shine on the dualsense controller, just some resistance on the triggers while web slinging. the vibration also just kind of tickles your palms every now and then
The problem with this game is the fact that they made the only white person the bad guy and even the tinkerer who was the definition of pure evil had to be turned into a good guy because she’s a black woman, the gameplay which is absolutely amazing is completely overshadowed by how racist the games story is

People who make choices based on what they see when it comes to skin color, religion, culture, and so on. In this case Joe is saying how cool that they actually put into detail about Miles ethnicity. Before when Miles came out people legit didn’t like him because they thought he was a knock off Peter Parker who was just Puerto Rican and Black so that’s why they didn’t bother with the character. But yeah “It’s a made-up problem.”
I don’t think it’s hate against other cultures , just more like an annoying characteristic of the Puerto Ricans. I’m Hispanic born and raised in Texas , but I work with a lot of Puerto Rican’s here in Texas and I can confirm they are very proud of their heritage, not saying it’s bad to be proud of it, but when you go over the top with flags and everything, not to mention some of them think they are better than you.... yea it does get annoying. I can tell there was a legit Puerto Rican giving them pointers here and there in the game development.

The app idea perfectly encapsulates what kind of hero spider-man is. He isn’t a big time avenger, he shouldn’t always be facing world ending battles or going to space and fighting aliens, he’s the working class hero. He should be the guy next door, your neighbor always there to help whenever you need. He literally is called “The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.” The app idea was able to express that in an original, modern way. Yeah each mission is small, super low stakes and sometimes cheesy. But that IS spider-man, he should be saving cats, he should be pulling cars out of the snow for people, he should be getting stolen toys back for poor kids on Christmas. That is what being a “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” is. Hearing you complain about what the character literally is about is really confusing to me..? Do you just not understand the character?
That's not what he's complaining about. At all. He's talking about having it be a public app. He would be absolutely bombarded with hundreds of requests for petty bullshit per day. He'd be called in for people with an ax to grind and wanting his "help" in some stupid feud, he'd be called in for pranks, he'd be called in by political hacks and activists, he'd be called in by a cougar looking for a handsome young man to boff, he'd be called in by, I dunno, any villain setting a trap to catch/kill him. It's the kind of idea that only makes sense if you have no actual experience with the thing in question. It's about as believable as the "plot" of your average porno.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a great game but it felt more like an expansion to the original. Like a supersized DLC much like how Uncharted 4: The Lost Legacy was supposed to be DLC but became a full game just slightly smaller in size.
