- 👋 Today I install the KIES Motorsports charge pipe on my brand new 2023 Toyota Supra! My new manual Supra is already craving the modifications! The stock charge pipe is made of plastic and just looks generic. This new KIES Motorsports charge pipe is all aluminum and even has ports for adding meth or NOS! So if you plan to upgrade your Supra with added horsepower, this new charge pipe allows you to do that! Also with eventually tuning the car with more boost and adding a bigger turbo, the metal charge pipe will hold up over time better than plastic. Hey Brian, Great upgrade pretty much everything in the engine bay that’s plastic that can be swapped out for metal within reason of course is A worthy upgrade. when I get a manual supra, hopefully after I pay off the truck One of the first upgrades I’m gonna do which I think would make the interior look much better is replacing the airbag cover. Not that I don’t like the Toyota emblem but it’s big and round and I think it emphasizes the slightly too big airbag section of the wheel just the word, supra I know there’s a couple companies that make custom airbag covers. I haven’t seen one but I’m sure it could be done. feel free to borrow my idea🙂 have a good one
Yeah lots of plastic pipes on BMW. Car is coming together. I’ve seen some cool custom steering wheels for these. I’d love a BMW M2 wheel 👌🏼

I highly recommend putting towels down around the engine bay especially when your wiggling that charge pipe out so you don’t scratch the engine bay up!

Which exhaust setup are you thinking?? I watched all the AWE and Magnaflow videos you had on the white Supra, but the only other one I am considering for my 2023 is the Active Autoworke catback (I have their high flow downpipe).
i think you should try fi exhaust, imo best one for the price
Most likely starting out with AWE again! Such a proper sound! Once I dove into tuning I might try something crazy like a titanium kit!

🔥🔥🔥 I have a question, though, about the Kies additional ports for nitrous, etc…. Can one or both of those ports be used for blow off valves? Bear in mind, I am not a gearhead, so I don’t know these things, so that’s why I asked.
Lol no problem. No they are way too small for a BOV to attach. You’d need about a 2in hole for that. There are some kits that replace the factory Recirculation valve with a BOV on a charge pipe. Recirc keeps the boost better tho for a manual car

Is the 240 bmw more expensive? If it even comes with a manual?
It’s about the same or a tad cheaper. I think auto only. The M2 is a bit more expensive. About $65k with a manual available. I’d love one at some point!

The stock turbo manifold is pretty efficient for the stock turbo

No need to. This is all stock diameter, so there isn't anything for the car to relearn
I have a question. Is charge pipe samething with overpipe in the toyota 86? That pipe is connect from engine to the cat converter of downpipe? Does install charge pipe make it louder?
Charge pipe is only on a turbocharged car. It connects the turbo to the throttle body. It holds the posted high pressure air coming out of the turbo. It doesnt make it any louder as far as I can tell. But it looks better, will hand more boost and has fitting to ad meth or nos. The GR86 will have a header. Thats the exhaust pipes directly bolted to the engine

I’m planning better tires that are wider too so I won’t have all the spinning like my old one. This new turbo is much smoother
These Supras are about 455hp stock, about 402whp. Have you dyno tested this yet?
I havent dyno'd this one. But a local shop did a manual. Makes about 400 whp and 400 wtq. 455 is probably accurate for the engine power for sure!
I can definitely confirm I did have my hks intake installed when I dynoed but i made 410 whp
