Great video. You should try the same thing on a 2020 X3 M40i. There is 0 room at all to remove the charge pipe. That coolant bracket is totally in the way and you have way less room between the front of the engine and the radiator.

Aftermarket ones come in two pieces. As for the reasoning behind it I have no idea
