I think it’s amazing that she encourages her horse to focus and tells him well done when he does it well and says it’s okay when he makes mistakes. Best display of horsemanship.

Watching this, I’m totally blown away by Munson’s speed and endurance. Show jumping may not have been his favorite, but boy, he was bred and born for cross-country. What a dude as you said!

Absolutely love to see riders talk to their horse like this, they don’t understand most of the things but they certainly understand the tone of the voice. This horse knows he’s a good boy and they seem to have an extremely close bond. Absolute GOALS 😭❤️

I used to have an off the track thoroughbred and she always ran mad. That's the only way I can explain it. Ears flat back like she was ready to kill. Amazing what you can do with them. Good job.

The endurance on this horse is CRAZY!
I am so impressed with you both, I saw this course on the cross country app with course designer Ian Stark and those jumps are massive as is the drop off. I was worried for Munson and his stamina (never should have been) when you were still on the down hill. How big is he? from my laptop I guessed around 16hh but after seeing him on this course he’s gotta be taller. Ps: My bad, just went back and watched his run again 16hh exactly.

Wow Munson has come so far, I think this was the course he spooked and nearly impaled himself on the rope pole last time?, he had wings this time!.Water, people, dog barking didn't miss a beat. Amazing work.
Different course. Don’t remember which one, but this was the first time this course has ever been used, so it wasn’t the same one.
Even the experienced average horse person would not know how exceptional this mount rider combination is

Every rider needs to speak to their horse like this. Absolutely amazing. You can tell he loves his job, him galloping and going overall fast even when she’s not asking him to. He’s a beauty. Truly special. ❤
Your right but just saying she probably was asking him to go fast using seat.,her whip or her legs
And u can also tell that she's in jockey position if u look at her shadow. It gives them the signal to go faster. And if u listen carefully u can hear her whip once or twice
@@JM.H285 Ahh yes that is completely true but most riders just naturally do jockey/half seat so they are lighter on the horses back. I think that she only whips him once or twice to get the right spots on the jumps, plus I’m pretty sure that she just lets him gallop with her reins slightly loose for the grassy parts. You’re completely correct though, she probably does kick/crop the horse a couple times.
Yes... Munson!!! Elisa..what a great ride. It had it's scary moments but WOW!! I would say water is not to much of a problem anymore!! I love this boy!! I still think "long" is a wee bit too long! Thanks for sharing . This was very exciting!!! Safe rides always!! 🤗🤗🏇🏇

It's so nice to see so much compassion in how you speak to him. The way you talk to a horse is a reflection of what you think when no ones around and hence how you act and I really would like to see more of that in the equestrian community. Considering how many abuse videos are out there and the amount of abuse that still isnt recognised and exposed but we all know goes on. There are so many coaches and riders who abuse their horses and when expose issue an apology and move on, not good enough in my opinion. So this is a fresh splash of water to see. He does hear you and he tried so hard for you. Both of you did amazing, I take my hat off to brilliant horsemenship and absolutely fantastic teamwork. 👏🌸 please keep it up.
