- My first EVER team chase!! I am so excited for you guys to see this vlog! It was our whole teams first ever team chase so none of us were really sure what to expect but it was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a brilliant round and it was just the best fun doing the best bit without having to dressage or showjump before!! I will definitely be heading to some more team chases when the autumn season starts!

Wonderful, even though poor Mikaela had no brakes! Loved to see little Sam flying round with the big boys, nearly choked on my chocolate when his dislike was retirement 🤣

That was awesome. The commentary always the best -especially Zeb the Grump Jumping Fool-. Harry got an early start on the shorts-total Fashion Fail as he froze his arse off! Loved the whole thing. The lack of real pressure made it fun . Very respectable 5th! ♥️ From 🇨🇦

I did a team chase age 14 when i was still in England, i had a pony at livery in north London and i was invited to join a team, it was before my eventing yrs in France 10 yrs after for 10 yrs and i had no idea what i was doing.. we over took the two teams in front and i just couldn't stop my lovely horse, prince consort he was a lovely pony... LOve your videOs love your family team great to see the horses out having fun .. England is so special for horses none of that exists in France 🥀

I used to love doing things like this when I was your age. Our 4-H club barn was about an hour’s ride from the Nelson Rockefeller estate. He said we could ride on his estate as long as we didn’t look like Ragamuffins! He had a fabulous cross country course. When we were a large group, he set up picnic tables, barbecue grills and trash bins. Our parents could go in ahead of time so we could eat when we were done with our ride.
Occasionally, we meet him riding on the trails. He rode a very pretty gray Arabian. I assume some of the people were secret service agents.
Riding his cross country course was SO MUCH FUN! I rode my pony, Rebel, until we retired him at 30years old. I was constantly teased about his beautiful leg feathers. He was a bay tobiano pinto and everyone said I was riding a mini Clydesdale! Today, everyone would think I was riding a Gypsy Vaner!! Pretty posh for a 4-H Club, backyard pony! He loved to jump and was so much fun to ride.
I got my first horse when Rebel was retired. He was seriously starved. I started to ride him about 6 months after I got him. He was still thin and I had to use 3 pads under my saddle. Once the Vet determined he was ready to go out in public, I started jumping over tiny fences. Like Rebel, he loved to jump as well. My first time taking him on Governor Rockefeller’s hunt course, he blossomed. Our jumping wasn’t as organized as your event, but we all followed each other and instead of only 4 riders, there were 8-12. Watching your video brought back so many memories. Thanks so much for sharing you’re day. Watching you guys was a blast…plus, you were all so color coordinated! 😊❤

Yes, please, more of these. I don't know how I missed this--I clearly need to go back & pick up some vlogs. Geat fun to watch, the horses are having a good time, there's none of the tension that is present in the dressage & show jumping portion of eventing. Just girls & horses, having a good time. Kudos to the rider who helped Mikaela pull up her horse. Hey, nice legs---the horses, too!

Hard to imagine how much fun this must be for all the competitors, the funniest part for me was just after you finished and all four of you started to tell your experiences to each other at the same time.

I must say I'm beginning to get a bit used to the helmet cam, to me it looked like the horses came to deep under the obstacles but that is some kind of fraud (?) of the eyes.
