I still don't know why it does that, instead of binding to a key or something. It does interest me though. I might possibly write a better manual for this thing.
Please do. When I miss f2 hit f1 disconnect makes me need to turn everything off unplug dongle and must be easier way. Plus most videos just cover plugging in so you would be popular if you made description with how to do stuff. Found apps and more repeats of setting up for the keypad today.
Honestly the coolest thing with this thing is that you'll be able to perfectly use it (probably with more smoothness) with a raspberry pi project and a small LED touch screen or on your phone for special purposes of gaming and tech
For people that can not get the full spectrum cycling to work, make sure you are swiping across the bottom part of the touch pad where the pics of fingers are, it does not work if you swipe higher up.
I guess there is several variants of the keyboard with. Mine looks identical, but on the box it says "RGB" where yours has "BACKLIT". Turns out on mine pressing fn + f2 just scrolls through several RGB patterns, but there is no posibility to pick single color mode. But still neat keyboard for quite a cheap price. I like it uses good old nokia BL-5C type battery.
Man oh man, this is confusing...110% China when its best. Mine has made space + USB mini for charging, but runs on 2x aaa batteries, and the RGB also is like what Jaroslav mentioned. I wonder if I could buy a batteri for it and fit it...very strange.

Oh well I hope the battery life is OK even on batteries with the backlit on. I specifically bought it for streaming/couch setup, so wont be using it that much.
I got one and messed with the teacher's head as he couldn't understand why his computer was suddenly haunted!! too bad I couldn't keep a straight face....good fun plus practical for tv's when no mouse is handy!!
You only need to swipe at the 'bottom part' of the touchpad to make the LED cycling work (as exactly shown in the video). It is not mentioned though, so if you're not paying too much attention, you may not be able to make it to work.
Got a question, I can’t really find a video that explains the light indicators. How will I know if the keyboard’s already fully charged or if it needs charging? Is there a specific color for each warning? Thanks
It stops blinking red lights if it has blue and yellow lights that glows it's full it only takes you 30 minutes to charge and it's good for a week usage.

*😂 yasss purple!! I knew about level 1 and the spectrum recycling but not LEVEL 2! The level 2 is really cool. I think people who use it a lot will automatically discover level 3 without knowing how/why. Mine auto changes colors on when I just keep using the trackpad though.*

Lol glad to see I'm not the only one who turned it on by accident and ended up here 🤣.. one thing though, the rgb cycle I've noticed does not require you to hold down f2. Once you have a static colour on, just swipe left or right along the very bottom of the touch pad to start it cycling through rgb, and swipe again to stop it...
Well even I didn't know that, but I know that if you turn on the light and just slide on the bottom of the trackpad with no buttons pressed it goes to rainbow mode, so you don't press anything and it just goes through all those colors again and again till you turn off the keyboard or you slide again or change the light with the F2 + Fn combo
i remember finding the scrolling light feature once and never knowing how to find it again until i found this video, thanks dude edit: apprently for the crolling it can be any button, so that may be why i found it edit 2: doesnt have to be a button st all, you judt gotta scroll on the bottom

It's definitely a cool little gadget, I bought one a year ago and it still works great it even works with my Xbox one I'd have to remap the button configuration to be able to play with it tho but that's not hard to do.

Great video, thanks for the mini tutorial! Got mine for a Raspberry Pi with Kodi, worked without problems. It is also worth mentioning that (I believe) the RGB cycling depends on which color was set up before starting it. Like, when I tried to start the RGB cycling with yellow as the keyboard color, green never showed up; when I tried green, yellow didn't show up. The way I got all the colors to show up was stablishing blue as the keyboard color before launching the RGB cycling. Weird, but still a great product.
That's that cool changing the colors. However, I have my Easytone mini wireless keyboard connected to my smart TV. The volume buttons will not adjust the volume. I received this keyboard yesterday. Mine doesn't have RGB backlight cycling, but it does have Bluetooth and an on/off button for the device it's connected to, which are far more useful. I'm trying to figure out what the "e" button does. The home button opens the default browser, not this button. All the other buttons work. I don't think it's defective because the yellow light turns on when I press it, so I'm perplexed.

Thanks for the video. I now got to remove some bad feedbacks, because the information for the 7 color RGB was missing from both versions I purchased. I got same exact one, box and all that only 3 colors worked, until that little secret you mentioned. The only bad part was the fact that the charge lasts 2 hours. Then again I'm using it on a steam deck.
@@gabrielv.4358 The only way you can add a better battery for this is externally. There isn't much room for the one it comes with. Speaking of better batteries. I was looking at a $300 UPS and saw why they only last 15 minutes. I instead purchased a 200 ah 12v battery and inverter, which runs my PC, router, and modem for almost the entire day.
I have that keyboard almost one year, but I have been using only red, blue and green light (and sometimes the option when the colors are changing themself, but I didn't know how to turn it on) So thank you! *:D*

I found it out. Yours uses probably a battery AAA. And this one mentioned in this video uses a LION battery.

Mine only has green, red and blue lites. The green lights the keyboard the best.
