Nice vid, I love the quality of your videos
Thank you, it means a lot.
Meanpooh No problem! Thinking of getting this laptop, currently I’m using my grandma’s old laptop but it’s not the best, and I’m exited to play 60fps on apex and just cause 3 etc...!
Apex seems to be really optimized. I have been seeing a lot of crashing though. It feels like the game is streaming from a server very slow startup time.
@@Meanpooh will my pverclocked acer notro 5 with intel i7700hq
Gtx 1050 4gb perform differently
It should run slightly better in terms of FPS.
How do you get an adaptive resolution
Whats you nvidia panel settings? Not just for Apex but in general. Maybe you could make a video about it and show us also a couple of tricks how to gain more fps in games with nitro 5. Thank you In advance.

I tried running Apex on my nitro 5 when it came out but experienced a lot of stutter and issues from the start. I’ll have to tweak the settings and try again. I thought it wouldn’t be able to run it.
Oh yea, it can run it great! Definitely try again, you could have been experiencing server issues.
hey buddy , Niiice video and tnx for sharing your experience
i have a question
i Normal Mode (No Adaptive) Did you Get Any Stutter??
i Have Gl553ve laptop with same Spec like you exactly and i feel A few Stutter in Normal mode (My setting is High All)
Thank you. I didn't experience any stutter in the game. The only thing that I experienced that got on my nerves was the laggy server. The effects will make your character almost run in slow motion. Maybe this is what you are experiencing, just a guess. The servers can't handle the load I bet.
@@Meanpooh yes this game server is weak , they promised to solve that and maybe my problem is that
tnx for attention
No Problem. Its quite annoying along with deploying with just 1 other teammate.
@@Meanpooh yea , but somethimes when your teammate is not your friend , he go on his way and no help no teamwork ,apex legends teamleader method is new idea for battle royale and i think its gonna be good
True. I had a team mate that would not heal. Sucked so bad.
Nice video mate
Thanks friend!
mann how did you keep your temperature at max 72 degree, need a tutorial for that !
In the description of this video there are a lot of tutorials to help you. czcams.com/video/2nbx9yhG_nM/video.html

I get really high frametime in all games on my nitro 5... Whenever fps is dropping or increasing there's some slight stutter even at 60 fps. I used afterburner and the frametime is 16.6 at 60 fps, no stutter, but below 60 it gets to 18-21 and it really lags. I thought apex was dropping below 30 fps but it really didn't drop below 55. Is this a normal occurrence with the nitro 5, because of the 25ms latency? I have this in fortnite, gta V, fallout, all my games pretty much.
How much memory is your game using. Sounds like a memory issue, especially if you have 8GB.
@@Meanpooh I have 8 gb and when I play games I have more or less 1-2gb left. However as I said one of my 4gb sticks is from an old acer laptop, but it's still running in dual channel. Also, it seems to get worse over time. I used to have one stutter every 5 minutes, now I have a stutter every 15 seconds.
Try dropping resolution and run minimal graphics and see what happens. If it runs ok, gradually increase graphical settings.
@@Meanpooh It runs bad even at the lowest settings. It would run at 60 fps then when I look around in certain directions it drops to 50-55 and feels like 15 fps.
If you have no problems with your other games, maybe its the installation. Have you tried reinstalling? Other than that, I would save to get a new memory module to replace that older one. Most games run pretty decent at 720 and if Apex doesn't that's a problem.
Great video and thanks for answering me 👍👍
No problem, I was working on it when you asked. Just been busy thats all. For a free game its very nice. Love the characters attitudes and the music.
I have the same laptop but I'm not getting those results, about 20 less fps
How much memory do you have?
@@Meanpooh 8gb
@@leahcimwilliams5609 Sometimes memory helps with FPS. Im running 16GB in my machine. You may want to drop resolution to 1600x900 or use dynamic resolution.
@@Meanpooh okay I will try that
Here before 100 views
Welcome, hope it helps in some way.
I see you're playing with a controller... Do you find that easier or you just can't get into mouse and keyboard? And do you experience any apparent disadvantages because you're playing against PC players that use mouse and keyboard ?
I use both. Yea, there are disadvantages like not being able move your aiming reticle very quickly with precision. I do find strafing with controller easier as I have big hands and my fingers hit the other keys.
Im assuming the new 2019 model is better lol
Of course it is.
@@Meanpooh how much better would you say? i cant find any videos of gaming benchmarks on the 2019 model
IGaming, I haven't noticed any vids myself.
@@Meanpooh I want to start making videos once I get the laptop, maybe I will make some videos on it, only problem is, I don't know if their is any benchmark things for linux, I may dual boot windows and linux.. but I have no need for windows, except for maybe my game dev stuff
@@infelicitas That would be great for people looking for them. As far as benchmarking software for Linux, I've not a clue if there is anything available.
