Seems like your cpu and gpu had thermal throttle that’s why it limited the performance and got to lower temps and speed

for anyone with a an515-58 another option to decrease cpu temp is going into power options and cpu power management and reducing the maximum power while plugged in by 15%. i did this and have no performance loss and temps went from high 90s to mid 70s while gaming without having to open my laptop or download anything
