I’m officially addicted to Shaun’s channel. Such a great interviewer....... asks questions and listens. Too many people on CZcams machine gun questions at people. Keep up the good work 👏🏻
oscardelmontay I said the exact same thing. Kudos to you.
Shaun is a Saint.
I agree 100%. Other YT interviewers rarely let their interviewees answer without interrupting them and putting them off track with their stories.
@windthrop grumman he's the black sheep
💯agree.
Even though I've heard this former cop's story lots of times, i still like to watch every interview he's on lol he's brilliant!
Same I think this is the third interview I’ve watched now think il get his book as your other reply mentioned 👍
Same.
@Aray Rocks does Neil read it himself?
@@FirearmsGunGear yeah he does
@@jackashcroft873 cheers
" I didn't sleep for 3 night's. but my house has never been so tidy" lmfao.
Speed in a nut shell that and mega wankers sessions
Wank
Just got to that bit.
@hardcore boom bap not with base it won't
@hardcore boom bap ha. It is cheap and nasty. Was into it as a kid and then discovered MDMA and my world significantly improved ;0)
The most shocking thing I learned from this is that Shaun is 50
I would have guessed early 40s
As he said "well preserved by drugs"
And that he moisturizers his scalp too... "Good Man'
Whahahahahha so funny
He would pass for 35
I've met Neil
He's a genuine and lovely guy.
I'm delighted to see he's on a positive crusade(you to Shaun!)
Look forward to hearing this.
I remember him from school in Buxton! So thats what he did when he left town,Hmmmn.Good guy.:)!
@@shadowmaster9635 🤣
@@andreivictor293 Not in any way affiliated or connected to me..No
Never heard if this guy until a week ago, now I spend hours here trying to catch up. He's very skilled, articulate, and knowledgeable, but his appeal goes beyond that. He's caring and dedicated. His heart and interest in his subjects shines through. One of the very best!
Two clever blokes that actually care about people understanding vulnerable people matter just as much as trouble free people
💯my thoughts. Really authentic. The best interview I’ve seen with Neil Woods.
Shaun: "I'm 50"
Me:
"Wot"
i tought 35-40 lol
Shaun has such compassion. It comes through. I love him. Yes he is a wonderful interviewer also. Really listens and really cares. Shaun is do ENGAGED on all these interviews. He is wonderful.
He literally stares off into the distance and eschews eye contact a d asks mostly banal or derivative questions. So weird
I've never heard a more enlightening and intelligent conversation on drugs, gangs, drug law reformation. Thank you Sirs.
David Mansfield I so agree with you. Love Shaun and his guests. I’m addicted to this channel. Thx for chiming in. Shaun is brilliance with a huge heart.
preach
Shaun u ask such deep intuitive questions. U have an unparalleled style I’ve never witnessed before. You’re a natural.
He is my favourite guest so far. He seems very thoughtful and honest. Great interview.
This is what I love about the internet. Ex billions dollar drug lord chatting with an ex undercover drug cop in a pleasant and honest conversation. The irony is just incredible, in another time and place these two would have fought to the death to come out on top.
Not billion lol. Millions
I am pretty sure that he wasn't a billionaire drug dealer.
A billion is 1000 million.
(1,000,000,000)
True
…..this is absolutely brill !!!.....one of his best guests for story telling...
Shaun you've absoultley outdone yourself again with this podcast....outstanding interview!!....very interesting to see the other side of the coin...obviously a very dedicated individual to go as deep as he did risking life and limb...keep them coming shaun the channels amazing.....big shout to wildman and connor !!
Respect brother
Dont know if shaun gets round to reading all the comments connor..im wondering if theres any plans for a shaun attwood t shirt any time soon???? Any ideas??...hes absoultley smashing the views at the moment and id be proud to fly the flag and raise the profile...cheers brother
@@bigpappi83 I'll give him a shout mate he is busy and will read eventually
Ok thanks mate
You spelt absolutely incorrectly, but a fantastic interview nonetheless.
Hello, West Coast of Florida here, I'm new, and fascinated with your Podcast Shaun. I'm learning a lot about the statistics on crime both in the US and the UK. You're an excellent host, and your guest's are unbelievably informative, and I'm binge watching your videos. Thank you Kindly.
"Policing causes corruption" biggest takeaway from this outstanding vid. Thank you, gentlemen⚘
Love Neil also. I’ve learned so much from him. He’s also so empathetic towards these drug dealers making them so human. Thank you Shaun for having Neil on. Fascinating.
This fella proves that some coppers are decent human beings who just want to do good. Not all of them are insecure victims of school bullying :)
The key is ex cop. Their much better people one they’ve left the force.
The police in the UK seem a bit odd. Like the guy who got arrested for playing football with his son inside front garden for breaking quarantine the other day.
And the Cops gloating about catching people for travelling beyond quarantine limits. Do your job that's great but why are they always gloating on Twitter.
@@warbler1984
Cops are terrible people. This gentleman quit the force.
most of the ones i knew joined up WERE the school bullies
@@phoenixzappa7366 I'd argue alot of young cops in particular are decent human beings who have been lied to about what the police are
This was an unbelievable podcast, I really hope this channel grows, it's spreading a really positive message!
This episode with Neil "the undercover cop" Woods is one of my favorites. I cannot say how many times I have listened and re-listened to just be in shock because it feels like a story with arcs and it is quite an interesting stories he has.
An absolutely classic interview. Neil's softly spoken manner enhances the content he talks about. Again Shaun is interviwer par excellence by simply letting Neil talk. I have Neil's books and can only recommend them. Great interview - Great channel..
The way this guys tells his stories is amazing. I was listening to him tell them and still thinking like ‘shit is he gonna die?!’
Amazing book!!!!! Cannot recommend it enough. Neil woods is a bad ass.
The government should really take note of what was said in this two hour podcast and take action and great to have Neil interviewed in a more relaxed manner so he could open up more on what needs to be done towards combating the drug war on our streets.
What an interesting interview! Neil seems a brave and principled man, putting right the mistakes of the Past the best he can. Thanks for this insight, Shaun. I'll be supporting LEAP for sure.
Brave man, totally addicted Shaun, I watch this channel every day!
Leap has just gained another believer ! Can’t believe this was 4 years ago but he’s talking about 2004/5/6 and yet nothing has changed with the war on drugs
What a podcast. 2 people I’ve seen off true geordie podcasts who I’ve both read books from. Unbelievably interesting! Love the podcasts Shaun, almost listened to all of them now!
I returned to Brighton in the early 1990's from Germany after a couple of years and I was shocked at the massive increase of Homeless people...before it was like 3-4 tramps and then like 300 people one outside every bank, shops, etc...I befriended some and found out why...the Tories made cuts to mental health and released loads of low level patients creating the flood of Homeless people, well at least in the early 1990's these were people who could not conform to the get a job, pay rent, buy a car etc...exist in this slave matrix
@Ginger Nutz no what's that ?
Did that in US as well. Now, private prisons warehouse the mentally ill for profit.
as my mother says there weren't homeless in the UK before thatcher, there were tramps, but not homeless.
During the 2012 Olympics they shipped a load down here as well
@@katiekane5247 you're so right. The health care system was supposed to follow up with these people. How does one do that if the person is non compliant? Or evades the health care worker etc. It's all very sad & unfortunate.
Great watch Shaun, I think your interviewing style is getting better with age. Ive been following Neil for a while now, and am a huge proponent of legalisation. Great work getting the message out there. I'm often trying to push the same message. lets hope rational legislation will finally make an appearance in our British Legal system
I'm amazed with all that you do that you have time to read all the books you do Shaun.
Excellent work Neil and Sean. Best Podcast yet. I could have listened for another 2 hours!
Fascinating interview! one of the best.
Fantastic guest! Thank you, guys! Big love!
Brilliant Interview shaun, Neil, will definitely be pointing others in the direction of this and hope many out there can also show their support for LEAP. Many thanks, Love&Respect...;)
"I didn't sleep properly for 3 nights. But my house has never been soo tidy." 😁
Three hours to go, its been a long wait. I keep missing other podcasts, I find Premieres very helpful. Thanks Shaun ✊
Thoughtful questions and answers. The empathy can be seen and herd from you both. Great content- well done!
Thank you for all the content you supply us with Shaun !! Keep up the great work.
THANK YOU both from: Nokia,Finland..True Heroes 2020..Keep it coming!!!
Just finished watching, powerful stuff.
You're both doing excellent work. Thank you both for speaking out.
You will save lives.
I can't agree enough with the topics raised.
Love the guy 😊👍🏼😎Listen to his books over&over ‼️‼️ x
Kelly NonOFurs how have you commented on this two days ago but it only came out today?
marlon thomas because I’ve seen him interviewed on true Geordie and a lot is also in his book😉
Kelly NonOFurs I get that you like him
I mean you commented on a video two days before it got uploaded
Was it just a CZcams glitch
Had me thinking it was some form of wizardry for a minute 🤣🤣
lee roden ohhhhh thanks
Ah this should be good. A former cop who’s now trying to change the stupid drug laws. He was on Geordie and James English.
Thank you, absolutely amazing podcast. One of the best I’ve seen. This highlights the seriousness of institutionalized-created chaos and how there ARE simple and possible solutions to many of them that we can be a part of and see happen.
Remember watching the vice one. Brilliant and good for him speaking out. I work in mental health and seen the crush on funding over the last ten years . All seems it's all corrupt by the big people. Yet the lower paid workers have it harder with no support or training .
great podcast as always shaun, this man deserves a hug! well done on great presentation from both!
I loved Neil's book and am really happy you've got him on!
Great interview Shaun, loved Neil's book didn't realise he had the war on drugs one out aswell I'm definitely ordering.
What a great interview and interviewer. Shaun asks questions and listens to his response, no ego, very relaxed, yet informative. Neil woods is relaxed and comfortable with Shaun, whereas he wasn’t in a previous interview that I watched on CZcams with another interviewer.
Great interview, by far one of your best. Really frank and enlightening conversation that I hope opens a few peoples eyes. This guy is talking from experience of dealing with people from all walks of life and taking a step back from the blue line to think about how can we really help each other and society as a whole. I think that’s what you both have in common, going through the meat grinder from opposites end of the spectrum and both coming to the same conclusion. Brilliant guys all the best and huge respect to both of you in this chapter in your lives 👍
When are they going to make a movie about you Shaun? Come on movie producers, it’s a billion bucks just waiting to be made!
2 people with a huge knowledge and understanding of a lot of interesting subjects. Love watching these.
This was a fantastic listen. This 1 and the blink 1 are the best on CZcams
Shaun, you are an amazing man - keep up all the good work you do interviewing these people you admire.
This is a great interview. Shuan always gets so much detail out of people. And the cop has some amazing stories.
Shaun I’m so addicted to ur channel. So fascinating ALWAYS. Just love you and ur heart ❤️ that comes through in ur facial expressions. U r adorable and so authentic.
Once again, a great interview with a very brave man!
Another brilliant interview, thanks Shaun.
Guest got a little mixed up with names/weights....just to clarify
"Half a T AKA Half a 1/16th" (1/32nd of an ounce) = 0.85 gram
"A teenth" (1/16th of an ounce) = 1.75 grams
"A Henry" (1/8th of an ounce) = 3.5 grams
"A Q" (1/4th of an ounce) = 7.0 grams.
Then half (1/2 ounce),
an Oz (1 ounce),
Quarter K or '9 bar' (1/4 Kilogram = 9 Ounce),
Half K (1/2 Kilogram = 18 Ounce)
& 'A K' or 1 K (1 Kilogram = 36 Ounce).
Shaun: "I'm 50"
Me:
"Are You Havin A Giggle M8?!”
Another excellent interview. Thanks Shaun.
These podcasts from Shaun and guests just keep on giving!
Coming back to watch this for a third time, brilliant interview as always Shaun! x
We're most definitely a very primitive culture. Treating addiction as a criminal process rather than a mental health issue is the first clue. #prisonplanet #spiritualevolution
Very insightful and intelligent conversation on policing. I really love the content on your channel Shaun. Thank you Neil for this remarkable interview.
Much appreciated
County lines is the best example of how drug dealing has evolved into something far more brutal over time. The town I live in, all of the dealers used to be local addicts. There are no longer any local addicts that sell drugs, (heroin and crack) unless they're doing the leg work for a county lines gang. For which they're paid less than half of the minimum wage.
I think a lot of them run up debts and get blackmailed and forced into running to pay off their debts. Then gangs can fake robberys of product from the runners to constantly keep them in debt to continue the running. It's awful
Great interview. Well done, really warmed to this guy throughout.
Great podcast - This guy is a fantastic guest. Great story teller and seems like a top bloke.
This is such a great interview! Shaun is a brilliant interviewer.
Great interview and insight into drug laws.
so great that we get this free entertainment, thanks a lot for your great posts!
Becoming a True Crime thanks to interviews with lads like you 2, Peter Bleksey and Bobby Cummings, all so interesting and from different perspectives and eras, so fascinating
awesome interview. thx neil, best to u man..
You are such a good interviewer and Neil is such a good guy. Wonderful episode!
Brilliant podcast, thanks to both of you 👍 really enjoyed this
iv been waiting for this one for a long time
This is a really fascinating one shaun. Cheers!
Great to watch and very educational, I found this podcast thanks for uploading it, and going to all your hard effert hard work pays off congratulations to you @shaun attwood
Shaun I love this one. Thanks again man. Reminds me ov my childhood. Keep it up mate 👍 big love from Londonz🤠
Will be a good one for sure. I'm pretty sure he was apart of the Colin Gunn case which had corrupt police officers too.
Correct
@@cj6273 Yep I thought so. Just watched it, I am from Nottingham - the place was awful during that time. Even in other parts of town, shootings and stabbings were non-stop really.
I cant believe Gunn paid somwbody 2 grand a month to join the police!
@@westie0113uk yep 2 grand a month and the 'bonus's' he speaks of was gucci suits, as colin own'd a designer tailor suit shop at one point after forcefully taking the shop ownership off the previous owner
Very very interesting, thanks!
Best channel. Thanks guys!
class shaun so glad you had neil on, great stories and not got a judgmental tone in your questions like james english.
Really interesting interview........thank you.
best pod cast ever no one beats this . and ive watched them all .
Seems like a clever and nice guy, good podcast
One of your Best Shaun!!
Fantastic interview Shaun, brilliant, some commen sence at last 😊
Incredible story - my favourite one so far
Brilliant interview! I learned a lot thank you!
My Kind Of Show i had to subscribe....i remember seeing your story on Banged up Abroad...congratulations on all your success and i hope things only get better
Professor Nutt told them the truth about drugs years ago and they sacked him
Joe Rogan, eat your heart out.
I've blown Joe Rogan out for Shaun
Joe could learn a lot from Shaun
Fuck rogan and his £10.00 natural soap
Proper good stuff this
has joe ever really done much crime? sure a lot of holywood celebs and comedians plus the psychedelics and alt history stuff but I don' think they have all that much over lap.
Brilliant interview, I had the pleasure to interview for my podcast at the weekend.
Powerful stuff
really enjoyed this, thanks
You are GREAT MEN!!
Thank YOU! ❤️🙏☮️🌎
Another great guest!
