Supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation", personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓
I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music were my coping mechanisms from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and my love for the genre has stuck by me ever since.
Unfortunately, I took a huge break from Korean music around 2015 when I was officially diagnosed with lupus nephritis and seizures; I was receiving and battling years of chemotherapy and dialysis along with taking 32 pills a day, so I had no mental/emotional/spiritual room to keep myself updated with the genre. Luckily, I'm in remission now! Doesn't mean that lupus and seizures are gone because I am still very capable of frequent flare-ups of I don't take care of myself, but I make sure to do so enough to manage and live as "normally" as possible.
When I made this CZcams name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so hence the cringe-worthy title, OG KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

JYPE sure knows to put out boy groups, holy moly. I’m not sure if you know Got7 but their music matured a lot like this as they got older (You Calling My Name in particular. Uff). It honestly makes me worried for my Stay lovin’ heart🤣
Ha ha. I have a semi crush on Taecyeon, too. Except more from Vincenzo, and there I have to admit Song Joon-ki is more my type. But I still lost it at Taecyeon’s part after the bridge.
Girl, I was right there with you when it comes to Taecyeon throughout this whole MV. I'm no Hottest, but I enjoyed their music. Taecyeon and Nichkhun were my faves. I also agree with you that their music and choreos have become more mature; sexier in the most respectful way. If you get a chance, you should check out the dance practice and/or one of their live performances. They won't disappoint.

Every time I see Taecyeon I think of the psycho killer he played in Vincenzo. He's a very good actor. If you're used to watching 'boy' groups it's really good to see what the men can do. Super Junior are like that too. Smooth, effortless and very chill.

2PM was one of the first group that made me hooked to KPop back in 2008 (as well as BIGBANG and SuperJunior). So I was really happy to see them coming back. I'm a straight man but your bias Taecyeon made me question a bit my sexuality when he was whisper-singing like that. 🤯 (TMI: I really enjoy his acting in dramas like "Let's Fight Ghost" and "Save Me"). And I was also "noooooo not Nichkhun's face" at the same time as you!
Just in case, the dance choreo has ILLEGAL moves!!!! 🤣 You should check their performances or their dance practice if they release one.

I’ve heard some of their songs but wasn’t familiar with the members until recently like Wooyoung’s appearance on Kingdom mentoring Stray Kids. I’ve watched some shows and was completely unaware they starred 2PM members this whole time. 😂 Chansung in ‘So I Married the Anti-fan’ and Junho in ‘Just Between Lovers’ and ‘Wok of Love’. Now let me tell you, Junho **deep bodied wheeeew** has no business being that talented and gorgeous. I gotta watch more of his shows. He’s definitely high on my radar lmao

Thank you for that info! I don't know them well enough to consider myself in the fandom, but I've always loved Wooyoung's style. I can definitely see it, the funky vibes I get here somehow remind me of the Korean version of his R.O.S.E solo which I have LOVED for years.
@@hongjoongsbutterfly You're welcome, but I need to correct myself on some info. Wooyoung actually did the choreography (not too sure if it was fully by him), Jun. K gave the idea for the part where both of them were moving their shoulders. If you love his style, you can also check out his solo albums or some 2pm songs composed by him.
PS You can also check out the other members solo, all of them has release at least one Japanese solo album.

Wasn’t a big stan of 2PM back then but I got to see them open for Wonder Girls when they had their first American tour. Even got a (dark grainy ass) photo with them. Chansung (the guy drinking tea in the beginning) accidentally hit my arm as we were positioning ourselves for the photo so I guess he’s my bias 🤣 Anyway, I love this grown up sexiness where they don’t have to be shirtless or gyrating.

Only Taecyeon left JYPE to 51K, the other 5 is still in the company and were named directors aside from being JYPE's most senior group.
