Quick about me:
My real name is Tad, but DonKawaii/Don was simply an IGN name I created playing FF14 online, so I kinda just rolled with it. Lol. You can call me either one. I am also a teacher, and I teach people dance. And normally, I teach my students dance through sharing my own choreography, giving people drills or exercises to build foundation and technique. and I've been dancing for 15 years mainly growing up through Hip Hop dance culture, but have also taken inspiration from other dance artforms such as ballet, jazz, and tap. And how I got into K-Pop was because the main three groups, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD. That followed with other things hallyu like korean dramas, variety shows, and the rest is history.

Why "Dance Teacher" even though you say "Dance Mentor"?
I actually consider myself both. I am not just someone who teaches dance, but I resonate more as a mentor who is there to help, train, or advise dancers to take steps into the right direction. "Dance Teacher" is a title that just makes it easier for newer people to understand what I do.
Do you actually know or speak Korean?
Baby levels. I've studied Korean 한국어 for 1 year when I was in community college. I can read and write in Korean, but I still have trouble speaking and formulating sentences.
Have you ever worked for any K-Pop artists in terms of creating choreography, backup dancers, etc.?
Yes, but not directly or in-person. I have partaken in choreography submission projects/demos under the direction of dancers such as Pat Cruz (Kinjaz, The Company), Larkin Poynton (Project Home), and Alo Galedo (Brotherhood, The Company).

I do agree with you, 2PM is a manliest group in whole kpop, and I love it. Their simple but elegant clothes and also their light choreography is my favorite.
The choreography was created by the JYP team of dancers and Wooyoung. He also wrote and produced the song Make It. I think the choreography perfectly matched the song and the masculine and elegant image of the group. They did a natural version of dance practice, with casual clothes and a little less serious, very much in the 2PM style of doing dance practice.
Ohh I did not know Wooyoung helped produce it. I mainly know more about his dancing, but that's cool to know.
And Wooyoung idolizes MJ !

I agree with you so much.
Right now, in the Kpop, we often do very flashy and colorful MVs. We no longer have much simplicity and we focus much less on vocal quality. With 2pm, it’s the opposite.
Their comeback is soft but it makes a mark. Especially because one feels immediately the talents of singer and their natural charisma. As you said, they’re men. They’re not boys, they’re real men. And they’re not super-muscular, macho, or tough guys. We have an image of the male but soft at the same time. I like this way of looking at the man.
It is quite rare to see it with the following generations. I am so happy to find 2PM just for that!

I LOVE them! Their choreography is perfect for exuding their manliness and sexiness. If they did the choreography of next generation of Kpop idols, i feel like they wouldn't have the appeal they currently have. I also love A.D.T.O Y. and I'm your man. Those video makes me swoon. I love them all but Taecyon and Junho are my favorites. ❤
