2pm had 5 year hiatus in which 5 of the members took turns going to mandatory 2 year military service 1 of is thai American so he didn't . That when the members branched out to solo work with acting being major work for some of the members. They just came back last month with song "must". Since 2014 the members are the one in charge of the albums. This time wooyoung is the one who produced the title track.

@@marianacarina2580maybe she refer about the name of the album "grown" that's why the change in their concept and because they comeback after 3 years with that album because they were so into Japan's market or for some hard difficulties that they had to release that album in the past. In the story of 2pm there's a lot of strong stuff that happened but that's why they're stronger when they are together.

It is really hard to find the best 2pm song from time to time it change for me, but recently I really love "Ok or Not" from their last album, "Hallucination" and "like a movie" are some of my fav too but as a Hottest "Don't Stop Can't Stop" always something else this song is so meaningful for Hottests, also I love many Japanease songs like "Winter games" and "Beautiful"

Thank you for reaction. 2pm is my favorite and is the only kpop group that I've been following during 12 years. They have so many iconic songs such as "Go crazy" "Without u" "Hands up" "My house" and so on.
But every member has solo work as well. Like "No Love" and also "30 minutes might be too long" by "JUN.K" who is the main vocalist of 2pm.
2PM have a lot of good b-side songs. I can repeat them all day long.

You should try reacting to their Comeback performance videos where you can see the whole choreography. The choreos for ADTOY and Promise which you reacted to already are pretty damn good. Same for Make It. Choreography for 2nd gen is so different from the current generation. While I can appreciate today's choreography...I have to also enjoy the song which I don't enjoy as much from 3rd gen groups so I can say I'm a fan of any 3rd gen groups. They all sound alike...dance alike...all trying to be like BTS and it just gets old for me plus...they are all so young.

Their live performances are the best way better than the studio/mv
2PM was formed by JYP to give a more mature aesthetics to a boy band. Their songs are more sensual (2PM is after all the hottest time of the day). I think that you will really understand the importance of 2PM for JYP if you know about Rain and Twice and Got7. They are not as popular in Korea due their relentless touring in Asia.
Some of them will try acting but not all become successful actors, only those that really has talents will last. But yes those talented enough will transitions to acting or goes on to variety after their 7 years contracted ended and then decided not to renew it while those who are musically focused will become solo artist or songwriters.
