It was a sad day in the ancient city of Oyo and the Yoruba movie indstury as they lose one of theirs Folake Aremu who is popularly known as ORISABUNMI. ORISABUNMI pass on 4 months after the demise of her husband who was also a legendary actor Jimoh Aliu
The legendary actress passed away in the early hours of Wednesday 6th of January, 2021 after a 2 days illness which was reported as malaria. ORISABUNMI was taken to the hospital after complaining of slight headache before eventually giving up the ghost at around 2am on Wednesday morning.
While paying her last respect, kilarigbo team visited her sister's house where arrangement for her burial is being made and we were able to talk to few people who were able to give us an insight on the kind of person this great legend was apart from the kind of person we see on our TV screen.
Few of the people who were able to say something about the legendary actress said that she has lived a good life and they believe that she will be sitting in the right hand side of the lord.
We pray that may the Almighty God forgive her short comings and her soul rest in the blossom of the lord (AMEN)
